thanks for that, doing more research on the differences between egl, and ags/gia

just a search on price scope diamond the difference in size might not be that big.

The stone i''m looking at is a little rounder (the wf)

and egl seem like there ussualy deeper, (like a 6mm diameter egl, vs gia/ags 6.2 @ about .9c)

I''ll see maybe the pronges can be pushe a little closer togther, because the gap with the stone i''m really looking at will be about .2mm total, ( a 5.8 mm diamond, vs a 6mm vs).

But i''ll see if he can get the setting in a smaller size.

I''m not ready to debate egl vs any one else.

my point was that comparing the sizes of stones online egl vs say ags. the egl stones more often had a smaller diameter. I''ll call the jeweler on monday and see if he knows how big aroun that egl stone is. and then see the difference between the one stone on wf.

I think if its small enough the setting should work.
