wow Thanks JDgirl for just adding to my sreach :-P.

No one like to narrow down my choices. my girl helped me so far but wants some surprise and wants ME to pick a ring so all I get now, Is you know what I like. :-p.

but yesterday went back to look at more of mark''s work and saw this:

(I''m linking the picture, because it is his picture so I do not want to copy it)

But wow, emailing him today to see what it happens.

I love Mark Morrell but I don''t think he''s even taking new orders right now and it''s 6-8 weeks after that. He''s worth the wait IMO but if time is an issue there are plenty of excellent designers out there. If you like the surprise diamond/antique look, you might want to check out Scott Kay designs. You can go to www.scottkay.com and Pearlmans is a pricescope vendor who carries the line. Here''s one example of Pearlmans website

wow more gourgeous rings. thanks mrs s. Seems like those might be out of my reach.

when I started this search I had no idea how many rings there were.

Then I found p.s. and found the one list of antique style rings, and looked at all of those.

Then I posted... how do you gals find all these? geez soo many chocies, all so nice. I geuss sooner or later, err, atcually much sooner I''m going to have to commit to something. wish I could just get all of them, one for like every day of the week. :-p

I''ll post some greenlakes rings when I get home, I tired to contact them a couple of times and haven''t hread anything yet. but maybe with the skills you have here some1 can find something very close.

Place just keeps blowing my mind every day.

so found one more great like ring, but was wondering if any of you Superwomen know where i can get for less.

belle your eye is amazing.

Yes there rings are just breath taking at times.

theres wayy to many choices for me blaa.

anyone ever here of diamonds on fifth?

they have the ring below for ~$800, which to me seems way too low, because almost every similar ring I found to cost AT least double that if not more.

I''m still parital to the WF, but still trying to see what happens with Mark, emailed him today, got a quick response but still waiting for more. The ring I linked today just took my breath away. then again, most of his rings did the first time I had seen them load.

The reason for the time line is my g/f graduates on the 21st and it be a ''nice'' gift. but if I have to wait a little more for the ring I could wait another week or two, but would love to get it done before we move in togther. (mid june)

so ya, hmm, Unless some1 knows something about the diamonds on 5th store, I think I''m going with the
Whiteflash Ring. Hopefull Whitefilash responds to my emails this time.

Grrr. I''m rarely around a phone.
So I really hope I get something from some1 there.

Heres another stone I found.
Slightly bigger then stone 1. From WF ES collection.

The cut adivsor gives it a better score, but the griddle seems thicker which is where the weight might be? I donna.

here it is

http://www.whiteflash.com/round_ideal_cut/Round-Ideal-Cut-cut-diamond-2362015.htm

price is roughly the same.

Thanks for all your help so far. lets hope stage 2 goes well.

Thinking of going with WF, because the ring seems/appears to looking the most high-quality for the price.

Edited to ADD: Oops, meant to post this on your other thread! link

Have you considered getting an Expert Selection stone? If you check out the ideal scope, I honestly can't say why it's not an "ACA." Here's one that caught my eye and appears to be in your price range:

.79 I SI2

It's AGS certified, ideal cut, and hand selected by Brian the cutter... you can't go wrong!

I read your earlier thread and thought it was funny because I used to own that first diamond you listed in the other thread! .558 ACA Although I love ACA's, I am just as much in love with my present Expert Selection "upgrade" diamond and would highly recommend the one I posted.

Whiteflash has an excellent upgrade policy. Maybe on your first anniversary you can upgrade to the ACA you want. For now, I think Expert Selection would be a great way to go!!!

Good luck!
