SOLD 0.90ct OEC ring

I'm trying to get my jewelry hoarding under control, so I'll be listing a lot of stuff in the upcoming weeks. This was purchased for a 3 stone project and it has been sitting around for almost 6 months. Time to find it a new home!

This ring was sold to me as 0.90ct. My calipers measure it at 5.95mm x 6.18mm.

Approx K color, VS2-SI1 clarity. What might make it SI is a tiny clear crystal under the side of the table that is only visible under a loupe, and a tiny dark crystal under a crown facet that is visible at 3 inches away for me only because I know where to look. (I have 20/20 vision) At 6 inches away, it is eye clean.

Clean girdle, no chips or nicks. Tall crown, great faceting pattern, med/large culet.

Ring size is 4.5-4.75, white gold prongs, yellow gold shank. 14k.

Hello ,
I've never posted or replied before but I have been looking on PS and am registered as BahamasBlues2005.
May I ask- does this particular diamond have those blingy pastels and such? I am attracted to the AVC or AVR but am I correct to assume they are more expensive at the same ct weight? Gosh it is beautiful to my eyes I just love the whole ring.
And I am in Canada and only can wear yellow or plat, white turns black and my finger becomes sore.
Do you have other things you will think of letting go?
Can I size this to a 6.75?
I am looking for something - for my anniversary- as I don't actually own any bling-- 5 stone, 3 stone or 1 simple bling.

Hi Margaret!

This diamond does show the pastel colors! It might size up to 6.75, but I can't guarantee it. The band is yellow gold so it might work for you, but the basket is white gold, so that small part that is white gold may cause some discomfort if you're really sensitive.

Titian23 was wonderful to work with, and I'm SO, SO glad that she loves it.

I wanted to mention that we used Charles Carmona as the appraiser (los angeles), and he is wonderful too!! I was a bit intimidated by him at first, because his credentials are so extensive and I didn't want to say anything wrong/stupid, but he was SO nice. And quite chatty, too!! He first appraised the diamond in the setting and estimated the diamond at 0.93ct. After we got approval from Titian to remove the diamond from the setting so he can get a more accurate look, he put it on the scale. The scale said 0.933!!! He took time to explain exactly what he's doing every step of the way. I will definitely bring future pieces to him!

I'm so lucky to have worked with such great people. Can't wait to see it set!!
