This 1.27 ct round measures 6.97x7.02x4.28 and is GIA inscribed. It has a great spread for a triple X and is the most eyeclean SI2 I've ever seen. In addition, the inclusion is completely prongable. It also has lovely medium blue flourescence.

Scores a 1.6 on the HCA. The diamond is to be sold loose unless someone wants to purchase the entire necklace which is 950 PT.

Returns are not accepted unless I have grossly misrepresented the item. I am open to reasonable offers. Comps right now are listed at over 10-11,500 on similar stones.

Can I ask why you're charging significantly over comparable stones on JA?

Re: 1.27 G-SI2 GIA Triple X Round

I might be interested in this. Can you post the GIA report here that can be easily read/ seen (the one on DB is very small).

I also love yr heart-shaped and pear-shaped diamonds. They're really yummy!!

Miss Stepcut, I only recently bought this stone. I'm trying to break even. I was told when I purchased this stone that there is a premium on it because of how eyeclean and partially too, the spread. Also, I talked with another vendor about consigning this stone and they told me they would list it at 10 and a bit above. I'm definitely open to offers as long as I'm not losing too much $$$.

Phoenix, I'd be more than happy to post a more clear GIA report. I'll have to get back to my main computer, please feel free to message me on DB with any questions.

Thank you for sharing. I didn't mean to offend, but I do think it helps when you explain things like this.

I agree, it is good to explain.

I do think most buyers expect to pay at least 30% off retial comps on the secondary market, though. I know I do.

Re: 1.27 G-SI2 GIA Triple X Round

Thanks guys for the comments. I will definitely take this into consideration. I wish I had a crystal ball to see into the future. The reality is I didn't expect that I'd sell this stone less than 6 months after purchasing it.

Anyway, the GIA certificate itself is at the vendor I was thinking of consigning it with: these are my somewhat horrible scans of the GIA cert itself. I asked the vendor to rescan the certificate today so I could get a better picture.

Exactly. I see people posting items that are inconsistent with my expectations and I wish so much they'd share their basis for their pricing! Maybe it makes perfect sense, but if you don't explain it to me, I can't know your rationale. My assumption is that I am only getting a good deal if it's 50% off retail, and that I am paying a "fair" price at 30%.
