I'm still on the fence about selling this, but I've decided to list it up for now. As much as I love the cut and large size of the diamond, I'm finding that it's a bit larger than I'm comfortable wearing and I won't be able to afford the setting I'd like to see it in for a long time.

I bought the diamond loose back in December. It was sold to me as 2.05ct, C1 color, SI2 clarity (very eye clean) with an old European or transitional cut. The stone has some girdle abrasions and a tiny chip on the crown (on one of the bezel facets.) Nothing that a repolish couldn't fix. It measures 8x5.3mm and is slightly cushion in shape. I haven't had time recently to get it appraised/certified, so I'm selling it as is for now.

I had it set into it's current 14kt white gold 6-prong setting, shortly after I bought it, by my local jeweler. The ring is currently a size 7.5. I bought the setting as a temporary one, but I think the diamond would look great reset in either rose gold or a white diamond halo with a yellow gold shank to compliment its color.

Overnight shipping with tracking, signature confirmation, etc is free within the US. I accept Paypal and will ship to a confirmed address only.

Here's a link to the listing on DiamondBistro: http://diamondbistro.com/category/2...t-OECTransitional-Champagne-Diamond-ring.html

I've posted a few of my favorite photos but I have more I can email if anyone's interested. Please contact me through the bistro as I don't log into PS all the time.

That's gonna be a lot of finger (or clavicle) coverage for some lucky person!

I'm interested in this stone. Sent you a message on DB. Is it certified?

Thanks!

It's used to denote the level of brown in a stone. Also known as top light browns. Probably correlates to a K-M grade, but with brown instead of the yellow most people assume in those grades.
