I purchased this band to replace an antique band that I sold. I love it but I am not really wearing it. I would rather roll it into a new project and pass it on to someone who will wear it!
It is about 2 mm on the top and slightly less on the bottom. I believe that it has been reshanked in white gold due to the fact that the shank is in great condition. The ring is hallmarked platinum so I believe the head is platinum.
The design is intricate and in great shape. I love the knife edge look and milgrain detail. The carving on the head glitters a little bit and I believe it looks great stacked with a plain band or diamond eternity (diamond eternity shown is also for sale).
The size is approximately a 5.5 Maybe a little less. I generally wear a 5.5 on my left hand and it fits comfortably. It was sold to me as a 5.25 but I don't feel that this is the case.
