SOLD Tiffany Graduated Bead Necklace....

I own this necklace and never wear it as I am a SAHM mom now and don't get dressed up very often. I was debating on posting it on DB, but I just wanted to see if there was any interest before doing so. This would be my first listing on DB. Does DB pretty much guide you through the selling process like Ebay does? Can I request Paypal only transactions? Any feedback on necklace interest and DB pointers or feedback would be much appreciated!

I love that necklace too, but don't think I need it. I know Deco wanted it for a long time but needed a longer version and bought a look alike.

If I were selling something, I'd just list it on craiglist and have the potential PS buyer identify themselves. Then you could sort out payment with paypal? I'm really not sure what's the best way though....

DB is pretty much just a place for folk to come and look at your stuff. The actual transaction takes place off-line. So when someone wants one of my items, I send them an invoice via PayPal and go from there.

You can list in the description of the item that you only take PayPal etc.

And I like the necklace too.

I'd be looking to sell it for $175. That cost would include USPS Priority shipping to anywhere in the U.S. only. When I get a chance I will post some pics! Paypal preferred.

You need to give them your paypal e-mail address so they can send you money, so I created an anonymous e-mail and added it to my paypal account. I also use that email to communicate with buyers and sellers You can communicate through DB as well just be sure when you click to message someone you erase your phone number and real name if you do not want it known to the person you message.

Elizabeth, awesome! I just hand polished it and it is super shiny and new. I bought it from Tiffany's in NYC in 2003, but I haven't worn it in years. I've had it stored in its Tiffany pouch in my jewelry box. Here are some pics. I will let you know when I get it up on DB. I'm a DB newbie but I will figure it out. I know my way around Ebay, but it will be nice to use DB and avoid the fees. When I get it up on DB, just message me and let me know who you are from PS.

Dreamer, thanks for the tips! I have a bunch of other stuff I'd like to sell, so I'm hoping this works out nicely! Once I do it the first time, I'm sure it will be a no brainer!
