I too am used to wearing diamond studs daily.I just bought 2 ctw diamond huggies ,but I found them to be too heavy & uncomfortable for my ears .I love them but I am going to wear them for a few hours at a time only .

I am confused why you would sell them at a loss when you are still within the return window? Is there a restocking fee that you would be subject to?

It appears my reasoning takes a vacation when it comes to sparkly things. For what it's worth, I'll do my best to explain...

I love these earrings. They're so beautifully crafted that I don't want to return them to VC (haven't even contacted him about this option). I feel bad since I originally planned on wearing these 24/7. I'd feel better knowing that I've passed these along to someone who'd enjoy them more than I can. I thought I'd allow a fellow PSer an opportunity to buy these at a reduced rate since the price has increased during the past several days. If they're not purchased, then I'll hang on to them for special occasions.

Jeweln- Wow! 2ctw diamond huggies? They must be even heavier than these. Isn't it sad when you love certain jewelry pieces but can't wear them all the time? I feel like I don't want to give mine back but I wouldn't mind seeing someone else enjoy them.

Wait, no - I mean, I hope they don't sell! I mean, clearly you love them, and it appears that you can get by without selling them... what's wrong with having a beautiful, hand-crafted, unique pair of earrings that you bring out only on special occasions? Just think... because you wear them only once or twice a year, each time you bring them out you'll also be bringing out precious memories. And at some point you'll want to own a pair of special occasion earrings anyhow, so why not these?

(this is why you won't see me posting jewelry in the bistro... I like the fine stuff too much, and once I own it, I have trouble parting with it! )

I think for most of us these would be special occasion earrings. I just don't go to enough dressy functions to justify having such a fabulous pair of earrings. I bought some beautiful, high quality cz pear drop, milgrain halo earrings for my daughter's wedding because I just couldn't see buying real ones to wear so seldom. But for anyone who does have occasion to wear them, these would be perfect! I do think they are the most beautiful earrings I have seen.

I was going to use the earrings for daily wear, not just special occasions. I believe Victor also felt they were pretty casual and could be worn at any time.

But they may end up as my special occasion earrings, for when we actually bother to go out.
