I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm getting the itch to start all over with my jewellery, so I'm having a big clear out!
First up is my birthday ring. The original plan was to plate it because I don't like yellow gold at all, BUT, having had it for a while, I can see now that it needs to stay yellow gold. That means it'll just sit unloved in my jewellery box and only worn when I'm feeling guilty about never wearing it. That's no life for a lovely ring, is it?
Popped it up on eBay if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120932025166
Stats:
*18k yellow gold (hallmark is worn, but tested), 4mm OMC centre diamond with four 2.25mm OMCs and four 2.25mm emeralds
*diamonds in great shape and nice and clear, though on accent stone is more included than the others
*emeralds show wear commensurate with age (circa 1890s)
*size R 1/2 (UK), loose 9ish (US)
It's wonky (which is what originally drew me to it!), so those of you who need 100% perfection can avert your eyes.
