I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm getting the itch to start all over with my jewellery, so I'm having a big clear out!

First up is my birthday ring. The original plan was to plate it because I don't like yellow gold at all, BUT, having had it for a while, I can see now that it needs to stay yellow gold. That means it'll just sit unloved in my jewellery box and only worn when I'm feeling guilty about never wearing it. That's no life for a lovely ring, is it? ;))

Popped it up on eBay if anyone is interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120932025166

Stats:
*18k yellow gold (hallmark is worn, but tested), 4mm OMC centre diamond with four 2.25mm OMCs and four 2.25mm emeralds
*diamonds in great shape and nice and clear, though on accent stone is more included than the others
*emeralds show wear commensurate with age (circa 1890s)
*size R 1/2 (UK), loose 9ish (US)

It's wonky (which is what originally drew me to it!), so those of you who need 100% perfection can avert your eyes.

Beautiful ring. Is the postage fee to USA 54 pounds = 84 dollars ?

Unfortunately, yes -- the only way to send it fully tracked and insured with proof of signature at delivery is via FedEx, and that's the cheapest rate they have. :((

:)) It's purdy, ain't it? I just can't get past the yellow gold! I really wish I could, though!

Looks like you have a helicopter, based on your avatar -- you can fly over and get it! :D

Haha, I wish! Maybe I could convince my hubby's flight instructor that it would be a good training mission to fly over to the UK.

It's beautiful!
Sorry to ask this here, but I couldn't see how to contact you through ebay.
Would you be willing to ship it to Germany? I only see shipping options for the UK, US and Canada. Or would that be the same international price?

Hi periwinklegirl :)) Yes, very happy to ship to Germany -- that would be around £36 via FedEx.

I'll go in and amend the listing if I can -- I thought I'd put the EU as an option, but clearly I didn't!

Whoever got the ring is super-lucky! I tried to bid but I was on my phone and it didn't go through (two times in a row! It just wasn't meant to be).

Aww, sorry, distracts! I've had that happen a couple of times and it's so frustrating! If things don't work out with the buyer, I'll let you know -- you can have first refusal. :))
