Some of the stones in my pave band fluoresce red. Is this common?

Fluorescence comes in many, many, many varieties: red is pretty rare. According to this page (can''t vouch for reliability), 97% of fluorescent diamonds fluoresce blue, the remaining percent of fluorescent diamonds red, orange, violet, etc. I don''t know if I buy that (the melee in my various pieces comes up in damn near every color of the rainbow), but it sounds like it''s one of the more unusual ones to me!

Not common--count yourself lucky! How many of them? Pics?

Cool :) would love to see the pics :D

The temp setting I had originally has some that fluoresce red too. Also orange. Interesting! I''d wondered that too... I haven''t blacklighted all the possible melee I own, maybe I will tomorrow at work

How neat! I believe blue is the most common color for diamond fluorescence, but I''ve seen orange and a pinkish color too... I''d love to see a pic of yours if possible, it sounds very interesting.
