Awww thank you everyone. I felt gorgeous that day. It's amazing what a 1000 dollar a day hair and makeup artist can do. LOL. (TOTALLY worth it BTW www.professionalmakeupartistry.com )

I met Becky (my photographer) 4 years ago, and hired her then. She's just amazing and I knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding. But our wedding was delayed serveral times so... I was just so happy she was available when we finally booked THE DATE. And she applied my deposit (from years before) to my balance, which was so sweet of her.

Yes, that is my tear she's caught. It was a very emotional day. John and I have been together for 10 years (this June) and in all that time we are very rarely apart, especially for anything major. So when I spent the night at my parent's the night before the wedding, then went through the makeup/hair/jewelry/dressing... by the end I was just so IMPATIENT I wanted to see John NOW. NOW. NOW. NOW. I felt like a part of me was missing. So we moved up the timeline for our pre-ceremony photoshoot by 45 minutes because I just could NOT wait to see him any longer. And that pictures is right when we saw each other for the first time that day.

As for the pictures-- I had the print proofs 4 months ago. In two HUGE albums. But by contract the digitals weren't mine for 6 months, and then John had a miscommunication with Becky, which resulted in a (completely our fault) delay by another month.


October Bride, great memory... I did alter the dress significantly. It was a halter, and I had it made into a V neck. It did end up more revealing than we thought it would (and that's after took it in A LOT to make the neckline less exposed), but that was because of how deep the dress was cut by the manufacturer and there was nothing that could really be done, short of putting an insert in.
