HI Selkie, Thank you! When we called Becky to tell her that we had FINALLY decided on a wedding date, we made sure to check her open dates against the venue we were booking so fortunately it worked out. There are a LOT of great photographers in the Bay Area but I really wanted her to do my pics and so did John.

Hi Musey, I agree. That was on my top ten list. It's amazing how the veil was blowing just right. As you can probably tell from the pics, my veil was EVERYWHERE that day.

Gypsy, honey...it''s bad, but I am CRACKING UP thinking about your parents complaining there are too many pictures of you guys. Seriously. I know it''s a pain, but it''s just so funny. If they want pictures of themselves, let *them* shell out $$$$$ for them. Tell them next time they''re at a wedding, they ought to hire their own photographer to capture *their* experience. It''d be like having The Hills at your very own wedding with all of the camera crews.

Okay...I''m winding down a little bit. But I''m honestly cracking up over here. I''m sorry they''re being a pain, because the pictures are stunning and truly show how much love there is between the two of you.

It''s okay princess, I can see the humor, I really can. I was flabbergasted the first 3 or 4 times it was said. But once my grandparents complained about it 10 or 15 times, then my parents did another 20, then my aunts (particularly the one whose son was outside the whole night partying but she magically expected to show up in the photos) joined in I ceased being amused. My grandparent''s gift to us was the photography for our wedding though (at least in part, we made up the difference in price between what I told them in cost and what it really cost) so they feel invested. Still and all, we had booked the photographer already and were planning to pay for them ourselves when my grandparents decided that instead of whatever it was they were going to get us (I think it was a watch for John and a necklace for me) they would re-imburse us for the photography.

Thank you buterfly and rockzilla! The non-pro were amazing (thank you Violet!) but IMO you can SEE the point of professional photography. Ya know?
