Really? In the ones I posted I just saw humor, and some clever out-of-the-box thinking ... like that map of Europe where every country has a population per capita. Hahahahahah!

I searched a few of the many 'terriblemaps' links available, and considered IMO some insulting, so I didn't repost those.

I'm sincerely curious ... Which of the ones I posted (if any) did you find insulting, and why?
For example, someone could be insulted by a world map with New Zealand in the center.

Often insult, as with beauty and humor, is in the eye of the beholder.
BTW everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, might be seen as insulting to someone, especially since there are over 8-billion of us now.

year i didnt like the one implying that Asia was cut in half to make another place more important as our maps have the Pacific ocean in the middle, its how they are at school because we learn about our own region first
i remember the first time i saw a map of the way you see a world map, i was in South Africa around the time India and Pakistan were doing nucular tests and we were checking out how far away they were to us

I liked the rest of the world playing with Australia the cat -although i think NZ may have been missed off that one too but it is a joke map so no harm done

but its hot and stuffy here and humor suffers in the heat
