The world will never know but the tester is registering it as “other metal,” it’s magnetic, and if nothing else, my skin sensitivity is always a perfect litmus test!

Ok, the OEC in this brooch looks like it could be gorgeous. 1.72ct, J-K, VS1-2. Could make a lovely necklace conversion, or pluck it out to do your own thing.

Bahhhhh! It‘s on my watch list AND my size. And with inscription and original and perfect… but I am on a bling ban, saving up for something I do not know what it will be yet (but dreaming of an antique diamond crescent moon brooch to convert into a pendant) and desperately trying to not buy everything that sparkles.

I feel you and an antique diamond crescent is also on my wish list. Damn they are getting harder to find in a decent price point too.

It’s a beautiful diamond..It’s not certified by GIA. It may not be an I..It could be a J, K, or warmer if it was certified by GIA. The EGL lab is usually off by one or two grades. The same goes with the SI2 grading. It could be an I1, I2, etc. I trust Ivy and Rose that it’s eye clean so you could order it and see it in person. If you like it you could also ask them to send the diamond to GIA. You would most likely have to pay for it…but maybe they would do half with you. I wouldn’t buy it without a GIA report.
