It’s a beautiful diamond..It’s not certified by GIA. It may not be an I..It could be a J, K, or warmer if it was certified by GIA. The EGL lab is usually off by one or two grades. The same goes with the SI2 grading. It could be an I1, I2, etc. I trust Ivy and Rose that it’s eye clean so you could order it and see it in person. If you like it you could also ask them to send the diamond to GIA. You would most likely have to pay for it…but maybe they would do half with you. I wouldn’t buy it without a GIA report.

Unless there's a whole lot going on on the plot that just didn't translate into the image I cannot for the life of me figure out why this would be an SI2... ???

I have been eying this one forever. I absolutely love the pattern and wonder what might be wrong with it, that no one snatched it up yet. Do I need another ring? No. Do I want it? Yes. So with the risk of someone actually snatching it away (which would free me from my dilemma), I post it here. IS something wrong with it?!
Do you love the setting?
I’d be wary of buying it with the intent to reset - especially since I/R states the inclusions are off to the very side and covered by the prong.
Good deal that the setting risk has already been taken on by someone else - for someone that loves the ring as is.
I think if one were inclined to sell stuff they buy down the road - this one with its pronged EGL SI2 might be a hard one to rehome unless sold at a screaming deal. I’m assuming that pronged inclusion is the grade setting inclusion.
Maybe I/R has a picture of it loose? My guess is not. But they have a great return policy from what I remember.
What ive seen of I/R glamour shots vs real life of eye clean stated stones, the glamour shots are very very forgiving.

Ugh! I just measured my wrist...this would fit me. [RUNS AWAY!!!]
This could be interesting if someone’s interested in a project.
Gah! I just looked this up on eBay and it went for $921. Good price?? I think I regret not bidding
Well that jumped in price quickly. It was $510 when I looked at it. I’m very curious to see what it looks like IRL.
Edit - or I guess just better photos.
SO RUDE!!!!!!!!!!! It's my job to make others buy everything so I can live broke and vicariously in a sea of moissanite. How dare you post this!!! [screams to her husband LOOK...as he laughs and says NO"].

Heartless, heartless, they are I went and got the cookies, but I ate them. For you.
Ooh—thanks for reminding me of the starting price. Now if feel a (wee) bit better
I’m not surprised it jumped up because even though the stone was damaged and you’re basically just buying the setting, the setting is composed of 3 mm old cuts. I actually put a bid in for this but lost haha. I was hoping to get it on the cheaper side but I wasn’t surprised that it jumped up and I still think it’s a good deal for what it is in terms of the setting. That is if the stones are nice and sparkly.
Yah—I was thinking of taking a chance on it too if only for the old cuts and seeing if the setting could be salvaged. I hope whoever got it finds it a great purchase. The search for sparklies continues
Well, either this is a scam, or the previous buyer backed out, because the emerald ring is back. Listing now says 2ctw instead of 3ctw:
