I’ve not bought from that auction house, but Cinderella, my oec eternity, came from another auction house… they gave me a list of shippers to pick from. They recommended UPS, which I will never use again, lol! FedEx overnight is the only way I will ship. FedEx or I will get on a plane and get it myself :lol:

I find FedEx super annoying for international shipments whereas UPS and USPS has been better.

I paid for overnight, insurance with tracking… and she was supposed to be held at a specific UPS vs home delivery. All of this was written via a shipment authorization form, email and two conversations.

Cinderella was picked up, sat in a warehouse for two days, after which she was mailed with a 5 day delivery. Upon arrival, UPS claimed they don’t do holds unless I own a box at that location. She was in the bin to be sent back to TX when my hubby picked her up.

“I ship so many packages, I always send everything 5 day - I never looked at the form … yea, I see overnight insured with tracking. Sorry bout that”… use millennial who’s ate too many gummies speak.

I have never wanted to punch someone in the throat so much in my life.

FedEx overnight, or I hop on a flight and get it myself.

It was totally worth it… it was awful and I think my hubby was about ready to give me some gummy’s, lol…. But it was totally worth it.

Now if I had a crystal ball I would have used FedEx :lol:

Actually no… given how hard it is to find a T oec eternity, in my size and with our proposal date on it… that was one time I should have just taken the flight to TX to go get her myself.

That’s crazy! And I do hold at location all the time w UPS! Thank goodness it wasn’t sent back!

It looks like some of them are for "first look" members only, so if you don't have that subscription you cannot see some items for 24 hours.

I ended up returning it. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay closed and I was worried the pearl would get scratched. Bummer!
