Somebody's Gotta Buy This Stone!

Is this the one a PSer returned because it was too brown?

I’m pretty sure this is the one your referring to. This Malaya garnet was purchased and returned. The more orange one has not been sold or returned yet.

Maybe 6 of us could split the cost and have it 2 months a year...:geek2:

I saw that this morning!! It's really, really, really nice. I think 7.55 of us could buy it. Only $500 each...only...only I don't have spare 500. Maybe I could be the .55er? Everyone would get 1.6 months and I would get the .4 months...see how good I am at math? Wait, we would have to split the setting cost as well. This is too complicated. I'm out. You girls figure it out without me.:lol-2::lol-2:

That topaz is stunning! Topaz is one of my favorite gemstones. You almost never see untreated pink topaz for sale.

This topaz is sooo beautiful! I wish I could buy it, but I’m afraid it won’t happen.:cry2:

I know this vendor from Munichshow and this material..

Flat chips - like extremely windowed stones. For some special kind of jewelry and if not to expensive. The vendor is a very nice person.

Can anyone say purple?

Amethyst, origin unknown. Emerald cut, 14.33 carats 18.3x11.4x9.3, offered for $210 by Beau-wy on ebay

Omg! I know this post is super old, but omg I’m in LOVE with this Amethyst!

Oh, interesting! I didn't think about the window much. They didn't seem so expensive.

We've purchased these for our jewelry store for certain designs and they are lovely and different, as long as you're not expecting a traditionally cut, brilliant stone. I was also impressed with the quality of material. It's not the usual low grade stones you normally see cut in tablets and rose cuts.

A few examples:

I normally just lurk here, so sorry for the random post :)

Thank you so much for sharing these photos. Lovely pieces!

If anyone is looking for a medium lavender/pink tourmaline, Barry B has one on that he cut on his site for $162. I think it’s probably still available since it’s not in the new inventory section of his site, but in the Barry’s custom stone section of his site. His faceted stones are typically gone quickly otherwise.

I am in love with second necklace that you posted with the green stones. Do you have a listing?

8DDB7645-A57A-43D1-B2E5-BD4B911449A5.jpeg It genuinely hurts that I have to post this here instead of buy it myself. LOOK at that cut. Drool... please someone here buy this super rare gem and share pics :)

You would have to reach Troy on fb to get the price, his prices are very reasonable.

I'm totally in love with this ring and was a bit silly this afternoon :kiss2: Asked the seller for a best price and promptly got a $2000 discount  Maybe because I bought from them before. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to execute on any $$$ purchase right now, so I won't mind if someone else would snatch it. I guess I could ask the seller to pass on my discount to someone else (if she doesn't give the same discount).

Well, if someone wants to buy my kidney, then I'll be happy to buy this beauty!

It just might be, for the right gems!

Haha, you are certainly not alone with that. I have a serious ruby problem, too. I buy too much jewelry anyways, but nothing speaks to me as much as ruby in antique jewelry. Sigh :rolleyes2:

Seems we are kindred spirits. I could probably have a collection of just antique ruby pieces and be fine with life!
