Somebody's Gotta Buy This Stone!

I too have been admiring those emerald cat eyes, and the yellow sapphire. I've been on a huge tool binge lately though. Dust collector and infill planes for my woodshop have limited my discretionary spending. I did manage to liberate the 80% achroite tourmaline though.

I've eyeballed that one often, VL. I'd love to see a pic or two when you get it!

I checked out the yellow sapphire too, very nice. Hard to think how to set long skinny stones like that, though. If it were a little wider or shorter it would be very tempting.

I am on team emerald as well - gorgeous stones. Out of my price range, unfortunately, unless I find a sugar daddy (my BF would object) or be adopted by the ultra rich (my parents would object). Oh, well, since I value my BF and parents over emeralds, the lottery remains my only option.

Now something really worth a look from gemrite

1.31ct color change sapphire from VVS-VS clarity, no treatment, for only $325. Can not beat that price!
dimension is also good 7.24x6.22, very good size for a ring! Color change from bluish purple to purplish red

http://www.gemrite.com/collections/gems/products/purple-blue-sapphire-1-31-cts

I feel so bad I have to cut expense this month because I bought a fancy lens..., if it was one or two months before I will grab it without blinking...

The Gemrite cc sapphire seems like a good buy considering the colour, size, treatment level and price.

It is sold :)
That was quick you PSers! Do share the photo when you get it....

Maybe I shouldn't have said anything... To whoever purchased it, I hope it looks like the pics. Colour changers are notoriously difficult to photograph accurately.

Oh, I fell in love again! Tanzanian blue spinel from David Dawson, Rough2Refined. 6.99 ct., 12 x 10.37 x 6.76. It's not for sale -- I think he wants to cuddle it a while. I'd marry it!

Have you already proposed? Because if not, I want to marry it, too!

Too late, Ark. It said I'm next when it breaks up with David. Pant, pant.

Ebay had a price of $175K or best offer.

Who's going to buy me that ring?

MB, are you going to offer $130k for it, then gift it to me? :naughty:

Bummer, too late Chrono, I just found out it sold.

Can someone buy me this moonstone from the same company ?

"World Class Moonstone 20.95 ct "Blue Rainbow" check it out in our album of current gems for sale. Mind Boggling and mesmerizing~ A fertility Stone Extraordinaire~!!!"

_834.jpg

I guess I'm out of the loop - is moonstone really considered a fertility stone? Ready for the next one, TL?

Isn't Chris looking for a high quality moonstone? Ah, this one isn't faceted.

Well, it doesn't have to be a fertility stone to sell me on this one. It's gorgeous!

It is a lovely photo, but backlit on that dark background I have no idea what the body color is like. Is Kremenz a quality jeweler? I only think of them as perhaps donating prizes to Let's Make A Deal for promotional consideration with others like Swank and Botany 500. I could be mistaken since also think of them as being somehow akin to Wurlitzer

It is odd. I just went to their other listings to get more info on the moonstone and they have none. only one completed listing was still visible so I looked at it, just trying to get an ides of the seller. This was it

http://www.ebay.com/itm/360350814388

and it says that there were 33 available and 38 sold, which makes me think the moonstone had a positive effect on fertility.

eta: oh never mind they bought the thing, not sold it. something seems off in that ebayer's feedback history though

The Paraiba, if really what they say it is, is beyond gorgeous, but I hate the setting. Heavy, moosey, without any design subtlety - a stone like that deserves better. Wurlitzer indeed!

I thought this was a pretty awesome sapphire from Rick Martin, somebody should buy it for one of those ubiquitous sapphire e-rings;

http://www.artcutgems.com/item.php?item_id=620&category_id=48

If I didn't already have a sapphire ring (I'm still waiting for Xmas  ) I would seriously consider this stone, the shape is very graceful.

Also, it looks likes he's got some new stuff mixed in with his regular listings. Apparently I missed a couple of rounds of his new stones . . .

HOLY!!! WOW!!!! MAN I WANT!!! But, sadly cannot afford.

Someone will probably buy this as soon as they see it, but if not, this is the one to get from Brad on his latest drop. Man!!

http://thegemtrader.com/Sep12VSpinelPage.htm

2ct Spinel from Luc Yen....man, why can't I have a spare $1691?????

sep12vspineliii.gif

I couldn't agree more! Was just about to pull the trigger and buy it and then it hit me - with what $$? Please buy this spinel. Simply. Drop. Dead. Perfection.

Moosey?

Is that a technical term? ;))

I ran here as soon as I saw that stone. Drool extraordinaire. One of the people looking for sapphires should snap this one up - it probably looks better than most sapphires at this price range.

There are a lot of great stones this month! I want the chrysopase (I love chrysopase and this one is particularly lovely), the Munsteiner (as always), the prosopite, the chrysoberyl...

I wonder if Chrono has seen the kyanite cab that he has on ebay.

the vanadium chrysoberyl - yes!
