A couple of months ago I had a 7 stone asscher band made. It is 3.56 tcw and the stones are g/vs2. I sold some jewelry that I hardly ever wore to fund this. I am glad I did as I find I wear it all the time and even frequently in place of my solitaire. She sparkles like crazy. I love the ring so much that a twin is being made in 18k yellow gold with fancy intense yellow asschers of the same size. The project may take awhile given the world is focused on way more important things than my ring at the moment.

I love this idea, distract with beauty, remind us all that there are many joys in life no matter the circumstances.
A plant ("fuchsia")I bought last week, covered in hot pink buds, promising to attract hummingbirds...then it blooms this week, and the blooms are purple inside! Yes, please!


We have a dove nesting box on our side patio. The dove babies were born last week, but yesterday flew for the first time, and settled on our fan. The fan twirled slowly in the breeze, giving the babies a carousel ride!


My beagle/dachsund mix, begging for lunch leftovers today.

New addition from @SinCityFinds. The purple sapphire is new to the setting, and the rose cut halo looks like a component taken from an older piece with a 14K shank added to it. Hard to say what the rose cut halo was in its previous life!

OMG I love everything about that AVC wedding band!!! It's perfect. Can you tell me the carat size of each stone? I think I may need to add a ring like this to my jewelry collection once married!

oh thank you so much! Here are the details:

Approx 0.32/0.33ct per stone, 1.65ctw, estimated L/M VS.
My ring size is 4.5 but it's a bit big so I wear the plain band with it, which is a 4.
I had it set in a platinum trellis by the lovely team at GOG who dealt with my never ending questions and requests for videos. I am in Sydney so I'd never seen an AVC in person before.

I'm working backwards and so am now looking at add my engagement ring, but I have to say that I love wearing my bands and so might settle for a stacking set instead. Hopefully when this whole pandemic is over I will be a bit more active in my enquiries, but self isolation is giving me some lovely time to research what I want!

Do you mind sharing the details of the dimensions of the stones, and the finger/ring size, please? What is the width of the ring?
I will launch a 7 stone Asscher project, myself, as soon as I am able.
My Asschers total approx. 1.75ctw, each at 0.25ct. My finger size is 5.5, and the ring will be a size 5.75-6.
