I like the top left pillow, med blue shoe and the lighter blue shoe for my last choice. BTW, what shoes are you wearing? I know, stupid question. I''m probably the only one in the world who doesnt know what shoes you are wearing...I bet storm and Dancing fire even know

! I just think whatever color you pick out should match your shoes too (unless they are very basic/bland - which I highly doubt they are

)!
Lol! The middle blue shoe is the shoe that will be worn after the ceremony. My ceremony shoe is the Stuart Weitzman Sashay in white with swarovski crystals glued to them a la the Stuart Weitzman Hotspots in gold. Only my crystals are two shades of blue with the opal-y ones and plain clear ones. If you search for Sashay I''m sure you''ll find them. Anyway, so matching the shoe is probably the least of my priorities.

Another thought I had was to ask Countessa to get me an extra yard or so of the fabric she uses so that I can make a purse to go along with it, because I have a purse frame I love, but the velvet has gone icky...but I''m reconsidering that because it seems too matchy matchy, and I''m so not matchy matchy (white shoes with a silver/gray dress?) by nature.

Eh...

A plushy velvet (perhaps in a darker grey?) would look so beautiful with that dress. BTW, dress is unbelievably gorgeous. I''m not a wedding person but I''d say it''s worth going through a ceremony!
Velvet is something I hadn''t thought of until now. Thanks for the idea VC!! And thank you!

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of your opinions and compliments on my dress! It seems as though there is no one clear winner as of yet, and that makes me feel better, because I couldn''t decide on any one or two shades...We''ll see what she has to say on Monday!

But in the meantime, lets keep those opinions coming!

You're very welcome

. Velvet comes to mind because the nap and texture would make it a great alternative to fur. The drape would go w/the fluid silk. It does say evening and would be warm so that's something to consider if your wedding is daytime or summer.

Wedding is in the late afternoon, Vegas and in January. I''m not planning on wearing this down the aisle (it''s inside anyway) but afterward while walking around and going to dinner and stuff. So I''m hoping for it to be warmer than say, bare skin. Lol.

Winter wedding? Perfect. Bring on the luxury fabrics and the chandelier earrings!!

Lol! Is it ok if I have drop earrings? They are still quite large and sparkly. Linky

I think I''ll suggest velvet when I hear from her again. I''ve already convoed her twice this weekend!

They will do!

Seriously though, you are going to look so good. Doesn't the outfit also suggest some kind of ornate bracelet to you?

While I'm on a roll I'm thinking something with blackened metal.

I have no advice. I just love it. LOVE IT. The dress is dreamy, and I wish I had your shoe-dar. Seriously, there are so many fabulous choices.

I was considering it VC! I think I''m going to wear a bracelet that FI bought me for Christmas a couple of years ago. It''s just simple 14kt WG and sky blue topaz...I don''t want to be over accessorized though!! Lol!

Thanks for the lovely compliments blueroses!

I refuse to answer any questions you post until you post a pic of you in that freaking faaaaaaaabulous gorgeous dress. Furthermore, I''m considering beginning a campaign to get others to join my crusade. Every time I see your dress, I regret the one I got married in! NOW POST A PICTURE! Pretty please?

OK, so now that I can see the names, I say the peacock silk taffeta.

You know what I still can''t see? You in your dress. PICTURES, WOMAN!

LP took every single word right out of my mouth.

I think I like the teal of the top J.Crew shoe the most. I think that it will be the best, and I really, really hope she can find velvet in that color, because I also agree that velvet would look great. It is such a rich fabric, and so is the fabric of your dress. I agree that a more blue than green hue will be best. And, I totally recommend one of the different shades for your bouquet and FI''s tie! I think you really made a wonderful inspiration board out of the blues in your house!

Can you still wear drop earrings? Of course!

Oh dear. No pics of the dress yet ladies! It still doesn''t zip quite to the top, and so it looks rather awful on. I promise that I''ll post a pic when it does zip. Ok?

Can''t you just borrow a small child or a midget from somewhere to dangle off your back and hold it closed whilst being invisible in the picture just so we can see?!?!

Hahaha Doodle!!!!!

I''m sorry but I don''t have access to any small children or midgets. Now perhaps if I got another breast reduction....

I tracked your shoes down freke...gorgeous (and I''m not even a shoe person). I see that any color
of blue will match your crystals. I like the velvet idea. That would add such a pretty texture.

The blue on the satin shoes is my favorite.

Unfortunately I have nothing to add regarding the question you asked.. just wanted to say that i''m loving the dress!

I can''t wait to see pictures of you in that dress.. wow.. its so beautiful!

Who is your dress by?? Beautiful!
