My SP/Facets eternity band came today (what a wait!).
I must have been expecting a fireball or something, but TBH, I was a bit underwhelmed when I opened the box.
The ring came in a cheapo black velvet box with "Made in China" sticker still attached...So not a good first impression. Then when I opened the box, I didn''t see the sparkle that I was expecting and the ring felt kind of rinky-dink.
I took the ring out to take some pics and I''m still unsure of what I think of it! I''ll try it out for a few days before I decide if it''s going back or not.
I''d love to hear what you all think!

Specs for Eternity Band:
Size 4 3/8, .58tcw, F-G, VVS-VS, 1.8mm

My E-ring:
Size 4.25, .55ct RB, VS2, G, Stuller Solstice Setting, Platinum

W-Ring:
2.5mm Comfort-Fit Plat Band from Blue Nile

Very icy white and looks great with your set. That being said, I agree that you should try it out and only keep it if you 100% love it.

By itself

i think it looks beautiful with your set!

Not sure what you are expecting, but it looks very nice to me! Smaller diamonds will always emit smaller sparkles, which is something to keep in mind if you are comparing to your solitaire.

Beautiful!!

Personally, I think it looks to be quite pretty!

Aww, man! I''m sorry you''re so bummed!!!!

I think it''s a beautiful ring. FWIW, I see fire, even in that 3-ring-shot, where it''s lying on its side. And I see fireworks in the sun pic.

That said, I know what you mean about being disappointed in something when you see it "in person" ("in metal"?) I think maybe give it a couple of days, and see what you think.

PS: I bought two of the teeny-tiniest channel set round brilliant eternities, they should be here around Xmas, maybe the week before? I''ll post those when I get them.

Also, with the box? I don''t know if it''s just me, but I say send it to me wrapped in a gym sock for all i care, as long as it gets to me safely, and I don''t get my package and feel as if I''ve had some wicked overhead cost built into the price of my ring for the pretty box. I think I read a thread somewhere that says Leon sends his rings out in bubbly wrap and a baby ziplock. And Leon is many things, but low quality ain''t one, so i wouldn''t worry too much about packaging...although I do know it''s a nice touch, and I can see where you feel bummed about that.

I do hope you fall in love with that ring, though. I really do think it''s very pretty!

I have 2 bands from SP/Facets that look very much like yours, maybe identical. (in my jewelry box right now)
Mine are very fiery, love ''em!

I think that it is gorgeous, and all three of your rings look great together!

The band looks beautiful.

Have you tried giving it a bit of a clean, a little ammonia, detergent and hot water with a gentle scrub from a baby toothbrush can do wonders :).

Just make sure to dry it off with a hairdryer after.

Just wanted to add a few more pics!
Thanks for everyone's responses. It really is growing on me now that I've worn it for about 3 hours! haha

I think it looks great! It really brightens up your set. The diamonds look so very white.

Your band looks wonderful. . . makes for a great wedding set!

Wow...it looks gorgeous in the pictures! I''m sure you will grow to love it!

It looks fantastic!!! I''d say definitely a keeper!

Looks sparkly to me... glad to hear its growing on you!

Well... I think it looks great!!

Looks nice! Proportions look great with your ering!

I think it is lovely and it looks great with your set. But only keep it if you love it.

Well I think it looks sensational. It compliments your gorgeous Ering beautifully without overwhelming it.

I think it looks lovely next to your e-ring and wedding band. With SP, the quality is definitely there. Maybe give her a nice little soaking bubble bath and a soft scrub with a baby toothbrush.

Thank goodness it hasn''t happened to me often, but I hate the feeling of being disappointed or settling after I''ve waited for something for so long. If you''re still disappointed in a couple of days, don''t think twice- send it back and have them bump up the carat weight a little bit. I''ll bet that if you went to .75/.80 points, you''d get what you were seeing in your mind''s eye.

I love it and think it looks perfect with you e-ring. But your opinion is the only one that matters since you''ll be wearing it. Give it a few day like others have suggested. If you''re still not totally sure, return it.

I think it looks great! But, I agree with elle, if you dont like it after a few days, then its not the right piece for you and you should return it.

Good luck with your decision!

My philosophy on jewelry is, if it doesn''t make you gap tooth grin or constantly stare at it for the first 6-12 hours, it''s not "the one". Kinda like men, you should be in LOVE with your jewelry, not wait for it to grow on you.

I personally think the eternity band is very pretty. I''d wear the eternity band in the middle (between your e-ring and w-band).

Good luck with your decision dear!
