1) Square shanks are very comfy and prevent spinning. It''s a personal preference though.
2) The diamonds are secure and the nice thing about U-prongs are they show the most of the diamond!

Looks beautiful! I love the shank but I can''t tell how the side dimaonds are held in apart from the outer prong? Do you have a side view?

The side diamonds are held with hidden prongs below the main ones.. i have a VERY similar a jaffe setting. My sidestones had gotten loose twice early on when I had my ring but I had the jeweler fix them good the second time and have had no problems since..

Beautiful setting choice! It was one of the 3 finalists for me. I ended up going with a different one from Leo Ingwer but the one you chose was definitely a very close call. It really is beautiful and made for a hard decision.

It looks like a beautiful setting to me. Euro-shanks are supposed to be very nice in preventing spinning, but I''ve never owned one. I wouldn''t worry about the security of the setting, it looks fine.
