My Christmas present arrived today and you know I couldn't just leave it there!

I was seeking to create a girly girl stack and found this sweet pink tourmaline and rose gold band on LT. Thanks @Ally66 for offering this up, I love it!

Man that spinel (?) is beautiful! Is there a thread on it, with the story??

There is not a thread with the full story so the short story is that I was looking for the perfect lavender spinel for months. Then an LT listing came up with this amazing sapphire in the middle, first being sold for $899 then $799 and I bought it as $699. When I got it home and took it to my gemologist she found it was not a sapphire at all but a natural spinel! I was leery anyways because it was the most sparkly sapphire I had ever seen! Bought a sapphire and got a spinel lol!

I saw your first picture by itself before I scrolled down and I thought it was "WOW clean and crisp!!" I really like the second one too. So much texture makes it a totally different look. Lovely stacks.

Thank you @Luvallgems! I can’t get use to it though...It doesn’t fit on my right hand..and it’s too wide to go with an engagement ring on my left hand. I would have to wear it with the thin bands like I just wore them..I missed wearing an ering...so I had to take it off. I love the ring though...haha

They get numb and then burning and then change colors. It's crazy. Darn Raynauds and Chilblains. Oh the price we pay for bling shots haha.

Going to add mine. 2 of them are going out for short errands rings. I don't wear them more than a few hours because they give me a rash but I love them too much not to wear them at all <3<3<3 also sorry about the melted metal look. I have no clue how to fix that.

This is the wrong place but I will forget again @missy if I don’t mention it now. I have Raynauds too! My feet and hands turn purple when I’m the least bit cold. It also affects my chin but my doctor said that’s not possible. Well how come my chin gets purple with my feet and hands when it’s cold out. It even happens when it’s not even that cold. The doctor’s office is terrible if they leave me in a gown.. I turn into a purple mess!

@CJMT2018, if ”over the top” means classic and elegant, then your stack is way over the top!! Love your huge e-ring with the simple gold bands!!

I wear socks to bed even though I sleep hot..It’s so weird. My feet are always ice cold..as are my nose, chin and finger tips...

We sleep under a really warm comforter (even in summer with AC at full blast) so my feet/toes are OK. But my nose always gets pink and cold if the air is cool. I think it is all related to Raynauds and poor circulation. When we cycle I wear a face mask if the temps are cooler than 70 F. It really helps. I am over worrying what others think of me looking crazy with a face mask on lol.



Of course when the temps are in the 20s no one gives me a second glance but really no one cares anyway and I notice others wearing masks in the warmer temps now too. Maybe I am setting a trend haha.


Joanne, there are meds you can take to help. I cannot take them because it would worsen my rosacea but there are definitely meds to help your circulation if it is affecting your quality of life. Calcium channel blockers.
