35 US States

...and that''s it!

I have visited:
20 US States
Puerto Rico

I love to travel, but I don''t nearly get to do it as much as I would like.

Not counting states I drove through in my 2 drives across the country I have spent time in 22 states.

Besides the trip to Mexico at 18 I have never been out of the country :-(. I hope to change that by this time next year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

YIKES, I think I''ve seen more of other countries than I have my own. I have traveled a lot on business, but I''m lucky to get out of the hotel, so I don''t know if those places really count. America is huge. I really do need to get out more. Places I really , really want to visit in the USA:
Boston
More of Oregon (loved Portland)
Colorado (Any part of it)
Charlotte
New Orleans

This is fun! I''ve been to:

Canada (home country): British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia (I''ve also ''landed'' in Manitoba and NewFoundLand)

USA: New Jersey, New York, California, Hawaii, Vermont, Massachusetts (I''ve also ''landed'' in Florida'')

Mexico

Trinidad and Tobago

I''ve also ''landed'' in Cuba, Aruba, St. Martin, Jamaica, Costa Rica and a number of other islands in the Carribean.

Europe: Portugal, Spain, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy (including Vatican City), Holland

South East Asia: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam. (I''ve also ''landed'' in Qatar)

I used to be a Flight Attendant; been very lucky to visit many of these places numerous times for work.

Ooh, fun!

All the states and territories in Oz.
England, Scotland, Ireland, N Ireland.

New Zealand.

On the list: France (again), Germany, Croatia, Wales, Argentina (maybe in 2012). I think we''re going to be taking a few vacations in Oz in the next few years as I''m not super keen to be doing long haul flights with an infant if I can avoid it!

US, I've spent time in VA, MD,DE, GA, DC, NJ, NY, PA, CA, TX, FL, NV, OR, WA. But I've been to more states than that... we drove cross country last year-- but I can't really count the majority of those. But for the record, TN, AR, NM, AZ to that list for the drive.

I've only been to Vancouver in Canada.

I've been to Queensland, Melbourne, Cambria, and Syndey in Australia.

Outside of that I've only been to 5 other countries. I'd love to travel more.

Well, OK, they do have their own stamps and their own ''army'' (even if they''re all Swiss...damn cute outfits too). And their own Ambassadors.

I have suuuuuuch a funny story about my dad and the Holy See at an international meeting, but I guess I can''t really tell it on here. AWWWRGH! So. Funny. We''ll just have to meet up in Ireland some time, just so I can tell you this story.
Oooooh Italian uniforms, don''t get me started! Polizia or Carabinieri? Armani or Valentino?

Can''t wait to hear this story over pints some time

Oh brave Swiss Guards with funny hats! The Pope must feel reeeeeal safe with you guys on the job!

I'm going to say these outfits are more Versace than Valentino.

But when it comes to the Italians, for me it's all about the Carabiniere...

swissguard.jpg

... mmmm, Carabinieri...

Him: "What seems to be the problem, Ma'am?"
Me: "There's no problem HERE officer, not with a big strong officer like you here to protect me. (sigh)"

Ah, Italy. Why does everything look, taste, and smell so much better there than anywhere else? Well, with the exception of Naples of course.

Carabinieri.jpg

I''ve been...

20 US States, but never west of Missouri
2 Canadian Provinces (these should count for more- they are much larger than states
3.gif
)
Italy, & Vatican City

that''s it... I hope my list starts growing more.

Indy- I am so with you on Italy. Just thinking about the "home" thread, and Italy felt as much like home to me as anywhere else. I absolutely love it

but I don''t think my hubby will ever move out of the US.

Europe:
England
Italy
Spain
France

Mexico & Canada
Adding 3 more states for a total of 25. hehe
5.gif

27 states- the 2 most surprising to me was Wyoming- where they have real cowboys and Utah which was more beautiful than I had expected. I could see the Indians coming over the hills.

7 foreign countries. England, France, Scotland, Holland, Spain, Jamiaca, & Mexico.

My regret-- not seeing Canada-

Thanks,
Annette
