A 5 stone would be delicious too, or you could maybe increase the size of the side stones a bit if you want more coverage.

And I think the finger coverage is perfection. I love that it doesn't completely cover the top of your finger. The style of the ring is so light and airy and I think it needs just that touch of space to "breathe" and look right.
I could see switching out the side stones someday for either super white sides or a perfect match color wise. Or maybe rubies! But I would keep the size the same because the proportions are so lovely.
Can't wait for your comparison thread!

I see the different color with the side stones. I love contrasts, but I have to say that my first thought was that those sides would be a great home for my still homeless pair of Richard Homer rubies.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful projects with us.

I think the proportions are PERFECT. It's gorgeous on your finger, and I love the tulip-ey shape - the shoulders curving up into an open flower - you'd lose that profile if you went with larger sidestones. And, um, what inclusion?
I do see what you mean about the colour difference - do the photos represent what you see IRL pretty well, do you think? Fortunately switching out the sidestones is a smaller project, in the grand scheme of things, if you do decide to do that one day
I know EXACTLY what you mean about the metal colour being impossible to pin down. My 15% Cu band is the most difficult - sometimes it's white, sometimes it's yellow, sometimes it's a peachy pinkish... the chameleon quality is one of the things I love most

Thanks RB. I think a lot of people don't think of Steven because of Frankie's post. While he is a master at Pave work in that post he just does't come off very well. In my opinion the majority of Psers who have rings by VC are all a version of the emilya for the most part (myself included) so I think Steven just gets looked over. I really like to try new vendors and being that I'm on the east coast Steven was who I went with for this project and I'm thrilled that I did. I'm pretty sure he will be my go-to bench person now for custom work.
