I really like the east-west setting CCN.

YOur killing me CMW! Maybe I will see if WF can make that same exact setting with a few modifications. I have a $200 gift card from them for a few referrals I sent to them. So glad to help people spend thier money!!!

What about the WF Allegro in D?
Similar to the Knox but you could use your $200 cert?

Thanks for posting that.... I will go and take a closer gander at it. I like the way that the Knox setting has an "ever so slight" curve to it. That little detail is very appealing to me. Brian Knox sent me an email stating that someone is having the Bianca (name of the setting) completely custom made changing the basket and with double claws. He thought of me right away and said he would send me some cads on the progress. This may be a sign.......

Someone must be thinking along the lines of what I am thinking!!!

I love the Knox setting for your Sapphire, I would say that if you want a Leon, to have him reset your ER! I have found him somewhat challenging to work with as well-so have put a project on hold because of it!!! I figure why spend my $ with someone who doesn''t seem to appreciate it! He does beautiful work, but so do alot of other people, that would treat you well and do a great job on your piece :) I''m not saying I will never work with him, it would just be nice to be treated well doing it! Good Luck and can''t wait to see what you choose!

Leon is very candid with his comments. I do understand how it could throw a few people off. I admire his expertise along with his candor, but I have to be honest in saying that I felt like I should come back when I have a higher budget.

His work is amazing...and I do long to have a piece made by him in the future. Now that I have a ballpark figure as to how much one of his settings cost, I will come back to him when my finances will allow me to do so. Hopefully before I am old and decrepid!! LOL!!

CushionCutNut,

The one I was thinking of is the one that LostSapphire posted - the allegro in d. Similar to Knox and I think a little less expensive too. I think it is a great setting for a colored stone! I hope you can find something you love!
