Suggestions for settings on these two stones.......

Funny you should ask...I just got a shock. I went to Knox to see if they would set my Tourmaline in one of their settings in white gold. They said that the combo of a soft stone and a square cut they won''t touch! Well, what do I do now? Is this a fact? I am completely puzzled now. What do others do that have soft stones and square cuts? Should I start a thread on this do you think? Sundragon

I think it might be worth starting a thread on the subjest. I've never heard of that before? I know people here have tourmaline rings that are square.
What about a bezel?
