Linda, the site is just too tempting! I''d be much better off if I''d never discovered DBL, I don''t think there''s anything on that website I wouldn''t like to wear. I''m even loving a couple of the men''s wedding bands!

Miranda, glad I''m inspiriing you LOL! The little rb is 12 points. I''ll have a look for other pics of the earrings. I have a few blurry ones, but I''ll see if I can take some better ones in daylight. What are you thinking of doing with your pears? They are so gorgeous for earrings and pendants, such a classic look. What size are they? My earrings are actually pretty tiny and one day I''d quite like to get DBL to make a matchy pair to wear with the necklace.

Coatimundi, I wore it out to lunch yesterday with my earrings and I loved the look - there was a nice big mirror on one wall of the restaurant and halogen spot lighting, so I could see constant little flashes of fire. I couldn''t tell you what we actually ate.

It actually looks very dressy. I''m surprised at how dressed up the earring and pendant combo made me feel. I usually wear WF rb studs with jackets or the EC studs in my avatar, so dangles felt very dressy. Oddly, I felt more dressed up with this on that I ever did with my 1.69cttw pear and baguette pendant.

This isn''t a great picture, but these are the pear earrings - hope they help you decide on your own settings, Miranda. They are only 1.5cttw and that covers the four pear cuts and the tiny rbs. They look ok for their size though, they do feel quite dressy.

Very beautiful! Thanks so much for posting the pic! My pears are .62 and .63 and are currently set in a plain basket setting. I''m thinking about bezeled dangles on a leverback. But, I''ve also thought of using them as sidestones in a ring. I plan to buy another pear for a necklace. Thanks again!

Miranda, these pears sound like they will be a really nice size for earrings. If they were mine, I''d dangle them from a little rb with delicate bezels, but hey - I''m going to be biased in that direction when it comes to earrings.

I have a few things in mind so I may have to start a thread and get some opinions. Here''s my list:
bezel OMC or OEC necklace of some sort (maybe DBTY)
bezel drop earrings (again with OMC or OEC)
or drop earrings with halos

(Can you tell I''m obsessed with bezels right now?? I would like millgrain with the bezel too.)

Well, my pendant arrived today and I love it, I can''t get over how much I love it!
The pear faces up nice and big and no bowtie - it throws off a fair bit of fire too, but I can never capture that in a photo.

Mrsv, it cost under $2 and David found the stone just a couple of days after I asked him to look out for one. Have a look at his website etc.
