We just ordered the tacori 2620 in platinum, but now I am second guessing that choice. I am concerned with the patina it will develop. My original ering had a ton of pave and was white gold. It did yellow a bit on the bottom and I got it refilled 1-2 times a year. Any feedback on how tacori's platinum patina over time?

I cannot speak to the platinum Tacori uses but IMO platinum is timeless and the best choice for a white metal. It can easily be polished and brought up to original shine if that is what you wish without losing any metal and it is a beautiful color. Do you know which plat alloy Tacori uses in their rings?

Platinum. If price was not an issue, everything I buy in white would be platinum.

Thanks for the responses. I decided to stick with the platinum. The jeweler told me that white gold will stay shiny, but can turn yellow. Platinum will stay white, but lose it's shine. And of course both can be polished or re-dipped, so they both require maintance. I thought that was a good way to look at things.
