Talking Dogs and strange pets.

My crazy a$$ dogs both make totally weird sounds.

When my little mix, Cricket, is really comfortable and happy she grunts. and I mean GRUNTS. It is this really loud, drawn out sound. Very pleasant.

And Izzie, our Ibizan hound, well, he''s generally a freak of nature

, but he HOWLS when the answering machine picks up. Or when the alarm goes off in the morning. ANd he is not a good howler. at all. He also sounds like a walrus or Chewbacca when he and Cricket play.

Dogs are so stupid, really.

Oh, and Miles freaks out whenever there are ferrets on TV. Really any animal, he loves to sit and watch dog shows. But I had it on animal planet and there were two ferrets playing on tv, and he literally jumped up on the tv with his front two paws chasing the ferrets around. Then when they went off, he looked all around the tv and living room for almost 30 minutes trying to find them. I don''t think I''ve ever laughed harder in my life.
