Tennis Bracelet Shopping Question

I am purchasing a tennis bracelet, I had in my mind 10 carats (6.75”) bracelet (I looked at photos online and I liked that carat size) however, I have a tennis necklace that’s just about 17 carats (16”). My question is, will it feel disproportionate to wear my tennis bracelet, with diamonds larger than than the diamonds on the tennis necklace, with the necklace at the same time? I won’t wear both together all the time. But I do wear my tennis necklace often, even casually. This might be a silly question! I’m having the bracelet custom made so I just want to make sure I order the right size and it doesn’t feel strange to my eye that the diamond size will be slightly different. I don’t want it to seem, I’m not sure what the right word is but visually unbalanced I guess? My jeweler is not in my state, I could go try on one at a random store but to be honest it’s the holidays and I’m tired! I would love your opinions. Thanks in advance!

IMHO, as I don't do matchy matchy in jewellery, as in I don't wear all the pieces in a matching set of jewellery all at the same time, I personally do not believe it is an issue.

However, it is all down to your own personal preferences - each to their own so to speak.

What is the millimeter difference of the diamonds between the bracelet and necklace?

Is your tennis necklace one where the diamonds are all the same size, or graduating sizes?

I don't think it would seem visually "off" to have a bracelet whose diamonds are a different size diamonds than your necklace. The two "stations" (neck and wrist) are fairly far apart. And, like dk168 said, I also prefer to not have my jewelry pieces overly matching. For instance, I prefer having stud earring diamonds and a soli pendant diamond two different sizes. (But oddly enough, I like having the diamonds in my band be the same size as those in my tennis bracelet -- I don't know why, maybe because they are closer together?)

Sometimes "mind clean" issues bother us in a real way, and so if you think you will be bothered by a size difference, then you shouldn't discount that.

My tennis necklace is not graduated. I’m not sure if this will bother me, it crossed my mind but I’m not sure if it would be a real problem in person! “Mind clean” issues, that’s exactly the term I was looking for, thank you!

Just asked the jeweler! Necklace is 3.2mm and bracelet 3.9mm, what do you think?
