I just wanted to take a moment to say, “Thank you, Kenny!”

Thank you for sharing so from your experience on such a wide range of topics.

Thank you for instigating interesting discussions.

Thank you for challenging us to think more deeply about a variety of topics. I rarely engage, for a number of reasons, but I appreciate your willingness to put yourself out there.

Thank you for learning (or deciding) to self-moderate, if only a bit, so that we’re not always having to wonder if you’re OK.

And, to be very specific, thank you for (way back when) teaching me the proper way to cook in stainless steel pots and pans. I won’t go so far as to say it was life-changing, but… pretty darn close. And my now-hubby was quite impressed when I was able to pass that tip on to him!

Gosh!
Color me surprised and honored.
And, thank you!

But don't you realize you're not supposed to feed the trolls? :evil2: :lol-2:

I'd thank you too but some of your recommendations have cost me a lot of money :lol-2::lol-2:

... but I think you got something very nice. :kiss2:

I agree Kenny. You’re a beloved member here. I always enjoy reading what you share

but I think you got something very nice.

I sure did. I bought another one 2 weeks ago for a relative who loves to bake.

Surely you’re not talking about the Ankasrum stand mixer Kenny touted?

If you are, could you please adopt me?

I am. And if you want me to adopt you, be aware that I'm errr, aaah, ummm, quirky, yes quirky would be putting it kindly :mrgreen2:

@Matata

How is your "learning curve" going?

It's a strange beast.
Before figuring out how far the roller should be from the bowl's rim and how much flour to add, you see their lumps of dough not behaving and the roller moving wildly back and forth.

I've seen several reviews and YT videos from noobs who hated & criticized it as a poor design for quite some time.
But when they got the hang of it they :kiss2: it so much they spread the Swedish gospel.

Not too bad with bread, beginner's luck. Haven't tried anything else yet. Going to try scones next.

Love you Kenny! You are a shining light around here. We used your space blanket window covers for years. Haha. Finally found a tinting covering we could do ourselves. Both work great.

Gosh, thanks. :))
Keep 'em coming folks

... even though I eerily feel like I'm reading my own obituary.

I guess, as they say, better early than never.
