Hi everyone,
I recently posted this topic https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/interpreting-the-hca.151562/ regarding an AGS 0 stone that scored >2 on the HCA. Given the feedback I received, we decided to purchase the stone, so as to examine it in person. I am very glad we did, as I love it! I believe that it has a slightly longer Lower Girdle Length than is considered "ideal" in lower lighting, but I see more fire and color return when we went to compare it with other ideal cut stones, although the trade-off may be that it is slightly less bright. I also feel like it has less obvious or chunky arrows, which I believe most people prefer for contrast, but as it turns out, I prefer the thin arrows. Thanks to everyone who so patiently responds to all of these similar posts in the RT forum- I'm sure it must be somewhat tedious to repeat the same info day after day, but those of us making initial diamond purchases really do appreciate the comprehensive help.
Thanks again for the help. I promise to post pics once the ring is complete!
