They probably mean a chain which is as old as the hills here known as Marks and Spencer, also fondly known as Marks and Sparks. They sell everything from drawers to doughnuts!

Yep its Marks and Sparks! Harriet and I have a loving relationship with their cakes. My hips however can''t take too much sweet stuff so I only succumb (spelling?) when I am really celebrating!

Actually, I was wondering what I am supposed to say if a customer asks me where I got my ring (when it comes). I bet I will get into trouble if I say Whiteflash. I wouldn't normally be bothered but they told me we have a lot of mystery shoppers coming in to check up on us so I don't want to get into trouble. I don't want to lie either.....

Hmmm, good question. I think I would just say, it was purchased out of the country. That''s not saying where, and it would most likely discourage the average shopper from enquiring further.

What a pretty name, it sounds romantic!

One of William the Conquerers sons built a ''new castle'' here on his way back from raiding Scotland and the name just stuck

I think over time it was just knocked down to make room for other buildings. This was before the times of preserving sites of historical value!

Its really spooky inside the keep. And there are far to many stairs in there!!!! I hate heights so I don''t even go on the roof!

Views from the roof....
