The 5 Stone Ring Thread!

I am loving this thread!

I got my first five stone ring as part of a recent trade. Not sure of all particular specs, nothing as fancy as some of these in this thread, but I think they are about I/Js, all eye clean, nice and sparkly, in a two-tone 14k bezel "almost full" bezel band which combined with the white gold bezels lets it kind of just look like one band of bling across the front. Stones measure about 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 4mm, 3mm. so my closest guess is about 1.25tcw. I am wearing it as a RHR, but I think it will be a good stand in travel band or when I am doing some more active things when I want a little more flash than a plain band provides. Ring is still a size 6 but finger in this photo is about a 5.

It is no secret I love bezels of all kinds, but it is a bit of a heavier setting than I normally would like so I eventually I might do a reset. The Sholdt five stone bezel (examples which are posted above above catches my eye) but I also like the appearance of the bling right across the hand so maybe I will be lured to prongs in the end.

Now I get to share my first 5 diamond band. It's vintage, I got it preowned and am the second owner. No specs exept they are diamonds and the ring is a size 8 1/2.

Thanks to all who have posted on this thread. It helped me a lot to decide what I want for myself. The stones are ACA from WF, 1.58ctw, G/H color, VS1/2. The stones were set by a local jeweler into a trellis with 4 prongs. Stones are set in platinum and the shank is 18kt YG.

I have an A. Jaffe oval 5 stone in platinum. This was the first piece of fine jewelry, it's not exactly my favorite ring but one day I bet I will trade or reset the diamonds.

Thank you! The prongs are very pinched which I love because I prefer the scalloped look rather than a wall of unindividuated bling. Yekutiel showed me the ring back in October and he remembered me in December. (I told him I'd be back!) We finished the purchase with Jade who is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Chloe, that is gorgeous! I think we have the same ring (but yours is bigger) both ordered from Shulami at ID! Pretty sure we have the exact same setting, pinched prongs with a low profile. Absolutely beautiful! I need to post mine soon and I totally agree about Shulamit, she is so patient and nice.
