LAUREN!!!! I''m super jealous and super excited for you! I had some bday $ to spend, and I considered getting a little half-carat sparkly, but I''d been looking for bands for so long, I thought I''d better get them while I can. I''m sure your new lovely will make me have second thoughts, though. Can''t wait to see it - is it a pendant, a ring???? Cellentani has so many questions.....
It''s a ring - the LOGR round Legacy-ish setting to be exact. I haven''t seen any pics yet, so I''m NERVOUS!!!!!

Excellent shots!!!

Here is mine. It''s a 54 pointers.

Ideas on how to set this ? I''ve been thinking pendants and rings, but can''t make up my mind. So many choices, but only one stone.

Nice shot Equator!

I would suggest making a thread on your stone, asking for help on how to set it in the title. You''ll get lots of help that way!

Lynny, try switching to Digital Macro in your settings, lowering your ISO, putting the ring stationary on a windowsill with good light, plaving the lens about 2-3" from the diamond, and zooming in to about 2x. You should be able to press the shutter halfway down and it will focus on the diamond itself.

Not the best arrow shot (they get better) but I liked this one because it shows a little of what I see in terms of colours when I am on the comp surfing PS :).

For my cheapy point and shoot I think this shot is really good - who knew my camera could do these things Cannons rock :D.

blackandwhitearrowsyeahyeah.JPG

Better arrows with colour :), I apologise I didn''t clean my ring I was to excited to try this :D.

arrowsonfingerwithcolourheckyeah.JPG

And I saved the best for last :D which also happens to be the first shot I took :)

P.S. The black spec is not an inclusion (I actually even looked up the inclusions on GOG's site to make sure) it is a speck of dust or dirt or something.

Yay, you did good missy!
36.gif

And the more you do it, the easier it will become. Some of the best I''ve gotten are when the light source is behind the diamond (like on a windowsill). I shall be looking forward to more now!
