I''ll dig around for that stamp info when i get home tonight. it''s somehow related to/designed by martha stewart. it''s beautiful. I stamped my shower thank yous and church programs. after a bit of trial and error

they turned out great!

here''s a picture that inspired my own thank yous.

and i always get confused about whether or not it is against the rules to post links...but the online store is stampworx2000. if you google that name and the following info you should get what you want: martha stewart weddings 10th anniversary issue, summer 2005.

the stamp comes in three sizes and i believe i used the medium.

Emeraldfan, I know i''m a little late in this thread, but I must say that your dress is one of my all-time favourite ODLR dresses ever! If only I had had the $$!

PS. It''s georgous as it is, but it''ll be spectacular with a train!! I can''t wait to see pics of the final dress on you!

Ooooh EF! I''m loving the reception space!

lovelylulu - Wow, those thank you cards are amazing!!! They really are the same stamp. I will definitely check out the site. Thanks so much!

happilyeverafter - Thanks for the compliment on the dress. I am still trying to decide on the train. I thought I wanted one but I got the quote from them and to add it will be another $1600. I don't think I need it that bad, and maybe it's good not to change too much of the dress so it stays the way ODLR intended.

crownjewel - the venue was the last one we looked at and is great for our needs of only 85 guests as it's just the right size. I did almost have to find a new venue because of some problems with the place but we're making it work out. In the end, I couldn't pass up the beautiful cave and grounds and we are going to do candles all over to make it more intimate (as they are one of the few places that allow open flame).

First...What a gorgeous venue!

Second...Hmmmm...I do really like the way the pink looks in that room becuase it is so warm. Maybe it is hard to imagine anything else, since that is what is in the picture. What is your gut saying? Have you seen the room bare or with any other colors?

fatafelice - that's funny, the picture does make those flowers look pink - they are actually purplish/pink orchids etc. and the napkins are a medium purple. I really like the look and was going to have lilac bridesmaid dresses and have my florist do the exact same flowers. However, now I think they are a little to modern and bright colored with my new flowery Oscar dress. Maybe the pinks are the better option. Maybe lighter pink for the dresses and church decorations along with green and white flowers, and then maybe deeper pink flowers for the reception????

I haven't seen the venue in another color. There is that red oriental rug in there now though which I mentioned in my other thread.

Also, I went back to the store today to re-try on my dress and I had her bring out all of her ODLR's, including the blue sash one. It was less expensive than I originally posted, about $9600 and it's actually a two-piece dress. There is a petticoat type skirt and then the lace shell. Very pretty, although it did seem a lot more french country (not sure whether that was the look you were going for).
