This is my favorite pic so far. Amazing what a difference a little sunshine makes! If I get really ambitious maybe I'll go find some things around the house to take pics of with "The Brick," as my ring has been affectionately dubbed.

I already sent the jeweler an e-mail telling him that I'll be by next week so the stone stone can be lowered. I was also momentarily bothered by the "gap" around the corners, but I think if the stone is lower it won't matter because then it will be close enough to the rows of diamonds on the inside of the halo that the gap will go away. I really do wish I could have gotten a picture of the diamonds on the inside of the halo before the stone was set because it's an amazing piece of work!

I am undecided about milgraining the trap bezels. Deco is right; it would have to be two rows, given how fine the milgraining is, and I don't know if I want that. And I agree with Rock Candy about losing something when you try to emphasize everything. Need to think that all over some more.

WOW - those pictures in the sun are just to die for!! That is such a HUGE amazing ring - I agree about both wearing it alone (no w-band) and about getting the stone re-set lower, but its a beauty!!

The "gaps" around the RB do not bother me in the least. It gives some space for the prongs.

Love your sun pix - WOW!!! So ornate, detailed and exquisite - I love it!!! Can''t wait to see pictures of it when the RB is lowered!

Well now that I''ve had a full day to study it I''ve decided it''s going back to get the stone set lower. It seemed a bit high to me when I picked it up, but I looked at the pics I had of the other Kelege rings that they showed me as a sample and this is just way up there. Hope they don''t make a fuss about it!

About the height, I know when I had my pink topaz set, they told me that was as low as it could get into the head(it has a halo as well)...is your center diamond the same/comparable size to the one in the other picture??

Sophie - they made the setting specifically to fit my center stone, so I am sure (I HOPE!) that it can go lower). I mean, it''s not a tragedy if it can''t, but I would prefer it.
