Here is my .92 carat G VS1 emerald cut in a 14K "cigar band style" setting. The diamond was originally in a solitaire setting from the 1930''s and that setting was neither secure or attractive, so I had the diamond put in this modern setting. With it is a platinum eternity band, its total weight is 2.65 carats.
It''s all very comfortable to wear. The diamond is low-set, the way I like the best.

MARA that ring is absolutely stunning

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum but I love what I''ve been reading. I just received the Harry Winston sunflower diamond ring, and I absolutely love it! I have owned two engagement rings before this (I only married once though) and neither of those diamonds sparkled like this one. Both of those stones were GIA certified. One of them was a 1.26ct Marquise shape, E color, VVS1; the other a .70ct Marquise shape, D color, IF. I also have many other non certified diamonds in different jewelry and even the costume jewelry that I have with the cz''s don''t sparkle like the Harry Winston ring. The ring has a center stone of .72ct. Brilliant cut, F color, VVS1, then it has 8 stones around it (all F color, but not sure about the clarity grade) and this stone has more fire than the diamonique I have purchased in the past from QVC. It''s really quite something. I originally thought people just paid to have the name stamped inside of the ring... but there IS a VERY noticable difference between the stones. I can definitely see the difference in the color of the D and the F stones... but the sparkle that the Harry Winston stones emit... well, it''s like nothing I''ve ever seen. So right now, I believe it comes down to quality over quantity. My husband could have purchased a stone that was 1.92ct, F color, VS2, Excellent cut for the same price that he paid for the Harry Winston Sunflower Diamond Ring. But the fact of the matter is that I put that larger stone on my finger and it did nothing for me... I knew it wasn''t the "one." Even though the sunflower ring has a relatively small center stone, the setting makes it appear larger on the finger, and it sparkles every color of the rainbow. It is a burst of sunshine on your finger. Truly, I''ve never had a diamond jump out with color the way this one does. I am exceedingly happy that my husband purchased this ring for me. It is an heirloom, and for the price (just under $16K with tax) it was well worth it. I only have a phone camera, so I don''t know how to transfer that to my computer, and their website photo doesn''t do the ring justice. If anyone is in the NYC area, I urge you to make an appointment to view this ring on your hand. You will be amazed at the bling that comes out of the stones! By the way, the ring totals 1.65ct.

Just got engaged yesterday!

We''re SO excited! We had a ton of fun taking the pictures, and we spent 2 months on research coming up with exactly the ring we wanted.
