Thank you so much Heidi. I'll be happy to share any info that might help you because I think you'll really love this ring in person.

The wedding band has 18 stones w/ a total carat wt of 1.08 (each stone is .06 ct). The folks at GOG did these & my primary contact was Marie (she's nothing short of AMAZING to work with).

For reference, my finger size is appx 4.75, but I had them make these rings a little larger (size 5.25) and add sizing bridges, because you can't resize full eternities.

Hope this helps in your quest!

All these diamonds are extraordinary! =)

Sandeek, how wonderful to be able to wear your Mom's jewelry - I'm sorry for your loss; it is really hard to lose one's Mom :(sad :blackeye:
I love the style of your ring, and have been looking for a setting like that for a while to put a little tsavorite in. Wear it and love it in good health. :praise:

Dizz: your ring is a knockout! The diamond's pattern is magnificent!

Katsmah, that is a very pretty ring! Love how the shank tapers in towards the stone - really makes that beautiful diamond pop!

Thank you! I've had it for 4 days and find myself staring at it during the day. I loved the setting when I saw it on Whiteflash, then my fiance and I lurked on this site for a couple of weeks to learn as much as we could about buying a quality diamond.

Beautiful! Very classic and timeless. What will you do about a wedding band?

Actually for my wedding band, I was thinking of doing something a little different. I wanted more of a contrast in regards to the size of the ring and the color. With the size, I felt the band of my engagement ring is a tad thick for me because I had wanted something a little more delicate looking, which I think I'll get with a thin wedding band that is usually meant for stacking -- a 1 mm wide half eternity band in rose instead of yellow gold.

I had selected my diamond because size mattered most to me and I had thought I was color-insensitive. As a loose stone, my K always looked white and only from the side could I ever detect any tint. Now that it is set in yellow gold, it appears darker than before. Face up and indoors at night especially, it can appear almost like there's a shadow? But it remains sparkly. Also from the design of the ring, not much yellow gold metal is visible and so sometimes I feel like the stones at a quick glance appear yellow without any explanation because the yellow gold band is almost hidden and not obvious. So alternatively for a wedding band I was thinking of just a solid rose gold plain band for greater contrast in color.

I am swooning! A rose gold band with your amazingly white er will look stunning and beautiful :cheeky:
