For Tekate's enjoyment - my 2+ ct Ceylonese sapphire ring made by Steven Kirsch, surrounded by .25 and .26 E VS2 stones. Paired with my 4.2cttw sapphire and diamond eternity.

Both in platinum.

These are beautiful, some similarities to my sapphire
Do you wear them together often?
I'm considering what my wedding band will be like

I very rarely wear them together, mainly because they're too tight. When I put them both on - although they fit fine individually - the width of the two of them together makes them far tighter. If, however, they DID fit more comfortably while on together, I think I'd wear them together a whole bunch! But my sapphire and diamond flower ring sits right on my finger and if I wanted to wear it comfortably with the band, I'd have to reset the flower ring so it was higher.

While I do love the look of the two of them together, if I wanted to wear them as an engagement and wedding ring ie all the time - I think I'd go with a much narrower band. I think that would look stunning. Mine is 4.2ctw, 5mm wide and about 3mm thick - so it's pretty imposing. The only reason I can ever wear it with my flower ring is because the flower ring is about 17mm across!

Mine is only a 2mm band with 12mmx14mm flower (roughly measuring because I only have a ruler!)
I've just tried it with my 3mm plain band from my first marriage and it does just about fit but I'd like to see if I can find something that works better. (will update my thread with pics)

+1, I ADORE everything about this ring. I have a special place in my heart for warmer stones (still trying to find one for myself!), and that stone and design are just incredible! The gallery has an aquatic feel--it reminds me of a mermaid somehow (please don't take offense, I am a swimmer so I find it one of the most appealing parts of the ring)!
