Rida and Alice, this is why its such a great form....i can see two totally different rings and enjoy both designs. Beautiful rings! Details, please Alice. Thanks.
It's a Simon G micropave engagement ring with double prong setting. It has millegrain details both on the prongs and on the band. It has a total of 102 G-H color diamonds in the micropave setting. The center stone is a cushion cut diamond. I just LOVE how it sparkles from every angle! I still can't believe how incredibly spoiled and lucky I am
Tried to post a few pics before but tried to get one up close (apparently cell phone cameras don't do diamonds justice..who knew?) These were taken under florescent light, probably not the optimal lighting, but it will do for now. I was very specific and DID NOT want any sort of "crushed ice" in my diamond. My fiance looked long and hard to find a modified cushion that didn't have the 3rd layer of facets I wish I could take a picture of all the crazy fire I get off off this thing. I'm still debating on keeping the setting or not, I've found it difficult to find a band that won't make it look like I'm stacking a ton of bands on my finger (not that its a bad thing ).
Here is my new ring....1.60 princess with a halo..I know the halo is larger than most, but it sparkles like crazy!.. I think the band is too thick for it, so looking for a thinner one....christopher designs....
I have enjoyed looking at all this ice. This is my beauty. It is a 1.3 carat round in a Low cathedral setting with basket prong setting. The band is one carat.
Gallery view and close up. Just new o this sight. Sometimes I wear my solitaire with my blue sapphire/diamond band, but due to the cold weather I cannot get my ring off now to show photo
This is my RHR, they are actually my mom's rings...she passed away recently and I just love wearing her rings as they make me feel close to her..it is a mid-century round in a box prong setting with three side stones on each side. The wedding band is a handmade trinity ring in tri-color from Woodstock, NY.
I was able to have some input ahead of time, so I asked for the ring made really low-set (the diamond pretty much sits on my finger) so that it would be more practical for work, everyday wear, etc.
Here’s my new wedding set that was a recent gift for our 15th anniv. I still can’t believe I actually have something to add to the other gorgeous eye-candy here!
Setting: 3 full eternity bands of .06ct H&A melee (1.08 cttw per band); the bands are designed to “interlock” w/ each other
Center stone: 1.33 ct Oval (9.09x6.04; D color) in a custom 6-prong configuration (ie, 3 prongs along each side of the stone & no prongs at either end)
Thanks for letting me share my new rings with you!
