well, I guess it''s that time that I add my name to the list! Don''t have a timeline or anything with my sweetie, but I do know that it is def on his mind.

We have gone ring gazing several times before and he has told me no more so that when he does go back to make the big purchase the jewelers won''t recognize him as the guy who always comes in and tries on without purchasing. hehe. But he def knows the styles I like. I honestly cannot wait!

I know I am young but we are so much in love and cannot wait to spend eternity with each other! And August 13th will be our 4year Anniversary, and I would LOVE to be engaged by then but am telling myself NOT to expect it and to be patient. I know that he will do it when I least expect it, and he has already made it clear that it won''t be on any "special days/holidays"...anyways, we will see!

I''ve been with my boyfriend for two years, and we''ve been living together for a year now. We''ve both been married before, so this would be a second marriage for both of us. I''m 33, he''s 30. yay!). We''ve been talking about getting married for a while now, but a few weeks ago he told me that the proposal would come by the end of next season. It was techinically still Spring when he said it, but it was towards the end and it had been very hot lately, so he may have considered it summer already. I asked him, but he won''t clarify for me at all. Anyway, that means that the longest I should have to wait would be the middle of December. I''m so excited!

You have got to be devastated! I can't even imagine how that feels. Sometimes guys make me want to SCREAM AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!

How could he do that? Were you involved in the planning of the ring? Did you know it was in the works? Are you sure he's not planning anything else? Did you guys talk about it at all? Okay, lots of questions, I know... I'm just trying to get a handle on what's going on

Regardless, I'm sending you a BIG hug and hoping that you're doing okay. Just take a minute and remember that he loves you, and WANTs to be engaged... some men are just absolute 2 year olds when it comes to romance. They just don't get it sometimes. The ring, the timing, the words - they just don't understand it's all important to us. But honestly, he deserves a good kick in the nuts for doing something like that... want me to come over and do it? I'm willing!

Also, here's a DRASTIC thought... one that a lot of PriceScopers might disapprove of

(since we're all so eager to get engaged)... Would you ever consider saying "No, honey, this is not how I want it to be. I would love to be engaged, but really, let's make it special?" Okay, the wording on that SUCKS, but he needs to understand that this is IMPORTANT to you... might hurt in the short term for both of you, but might make you happier in the long run??

Just a note to everyone: The organism I work for for the next ten weeks has two offices and they didn''t gave me a desk where I thought they would. It would be impossible to get there on time from home, so I''ll be living at my boyfriend''s Mondays to Thursdays, and then he''ll be home with me in the week-ends...
