Just an FYI Naked Finger, a new list hasn''t been posted since 1/6. Also, when you want to be added to the list, you have to post to this thread--not just create an "I''m a new LIW" thread. Many girls have decided to introduce themselves via their own threads, but chosen to stay away from the list for whatever reasons. So unless you post to this thread, you won''t be added.

(And seriously, the LIW board has been moving fast lately!)

I just came across this website and decided to sign up in order to help me with waiting for my boyfriend to propose to me. I''ll give you guys a little background about us... We''re both 23 and we met in college. I graduated in June 2007, but he decided to stay another year, so he graduated in June 2008. I found a great job right out of college and it pays a great salary, but he''s been having issues finding a good job. I had originally wanted to get engaged right after he graduated, but we''ve decided to wait until he finds a good job so that our relationship won''t be too unbalanced. I know that it makes logical sense to wait until we''re both financially stable before we get engaged, but it''s sooooo hard waiting. So anyway, I''m hoping that reading this website will make it easier for me to wait. Could you please add me to the list? Thanks.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years, and he''s finally comfortable with talking about engagement (diamonds! Also as a reminder, the rules for list cleaning are changing as of February first. The new rule is:

If you have 499 or less posts (rough or cut rock status), you will be taken off the list if you have not posted in three months. If you have 500 or more posts (ideal rock status), you will be taken off the list if you have not posted in six months.

List cleanings are conducted approximately once a month, usually in the last week of that month. If you have any questions, you can post them here and Alexis or I (or one of the other extraordinary ladies on this board) will answer them for you.
