How tall are you? Oh and I love your kitty! I gave up custody of my two cats in my divorce and oh how I long for some boy kitty love. Both of my cats were males and I swear they gave better affection than my ex!

That sounds awesome! It is very difficult to try and coordinate food for several people - it would drive me crazy. I''m SO jealous of you if you go to Chinatown! I want to eat the hell out of some tasty dim sum! Michigan doesn''t have a Chinatown TMK, but we do have Mexican town! We only have one dim sum place near our house, and they only serve between 11 and 3. Now I really want dim sum....

I still have my fingers crossed for you, B! I was just thinking about you earlier! I''ll cross them harder! Do you have any idea when you might hear back?

I should hear soon. She said between a week or two...waiting is so hard! I''m trying to stay optimistic - you know the power of positive thinking and all that, but it''s not easy. I guess no matter the outcome, the experience was good for me. I need practice interviewing and this was definitely a major interview. I just want the job so bad - what I really love about this job is the growth opportunity would be fantastic. We shall see...

Gosh you must be going crazy. The wait is SO hard when you really want a job!

And you''re totally right, interview experience is valuable regardless! The more comfortable you are interviewing, the better you''ll do on future interviews!

Thanks!! It''s from Moms, Maids and More in Bellevue. Just a run of the mill BM dress! Defnitely not selling it, haha. I plan on wearing it to my company x-mas party the month after the wedding. Maybe after that???

Universal Studios opens late at night and gets up haunted houses and scare zones that you walk through, plus all the rides are open...

as for the LK dust, I think sometime in the next few weeks... that's what he has hinted at since alittle over 3 months ago he gave me a 3 month timeline, if he breaks that timeline I'm going to get really upset since he gave it to me without me asking.

random question since I''m always thinking about either clothes or food and for the moment it''s clothes because I just ate a luna bar...what is everyone''s favorite brand of jeans and how tall are you? I love Lucky''s because I can buy the short length and just wear them without tailoring (I''m just a smidge over 5 feet). I also love sevens but I have to go to Nord''s buy them, take them home and wash them and then go back to ge them tailored and wait a week.

winelover - even though i only own 2 pairs of jeans (yep!) i love them. my everydays are dkny, and my "fancy" jeans are some off brand from JC pennys. I have a lot of weight to lose before i spend over 150 on a pair of jeans. bleh!

Joe''s Jeans are my favorite! I''m 5''10" and curvy, so they honey style fits me perfectly. And they''re just over 34 inches long so they''re perfect with flats!

LOL thanks! fortunately i don''t need alot of shoes or clothes becuase i wear a uniform at work (yay workout pants!) and sneakers.
so now i can actually buy expensive shoes and not have them wear out in less than a year.

my next big purchase (besides the dress) will probably be either a new pair of shoes or a laptop.

Also, re: pants...

I used to really like Lucky, but I find that their short sizes don''t run as short as they used to (or I''m shrinking?) and I''ve been deferring to petite-sized J. Crew denim (free alterations if you have their credit card, woot woot!). I''m 5''0 and pretty much have the inseam of a 12 year old, but hips & butt, too.

Don''t get me wrong, I''m sure it was great in the 80s, but a cowboy/fedora with a veil attached is not my style.

For pants, I discovered Sevens flip flop fit, which is inbetween the short and regular lengths, so they fit perfect with flats on my 5''4" body. I only wear jeans on the weekend when out, so I only have those, a pair of skinnies and my Limited pair from 3 years ago that are too big.
