Oh dear god.

I am losing it. The wedding is 10 days out and I''m an emotional wreck. I have NO idea what happened but I''m so queasy, and I have been crying over everything, and no - I''m not pregnant. I can''t even go into BWW because the anxiety kicks into high gear. The only thing that calms me is hanging with FI. I''m at work right now, trying not to cry, and there is zero reason TO cry.

I dont know how I''m going to make it the next 10 days.

mojitos fix everything!!

just kidding, of course! big hugs. just continue to hang out with Fi and maybe put up a few things at work that will help destress - like maybe a new vase of flowers?

Ahh, just your average run-of-the-mill cold/flu bug (not the Swine variety or anything). My throat is super swollen, and I''m drinking every vitamin C concoction I can get my hands on.

It''s got to be nerves. Try focusing on things other than the wedding - like the honeymoon! Or Fiance! Or the great party you''ve got planned.

Blah. No, unfortunately. I usually just let it runs its course and try to control the symptoms.

Thanks guys. I know they say brides get nervous/emotional before the wedding but I really didn''t think it''d be this bad.

When it''s just him and i hanging out, and we can talk about the wedding, I feel really good. Right now I feel like I need to hide under the covers!

Thanks for the support, though. You guys rock.

Also, I just realized yesterday how nervous I am to read my own vows to FI in front of everyone! I don''t like opening up to people! Not cool!

Well...whatever is making you nervous, there''s another side to it. If it''s about reading them in front of your guests, remember that those people are your nearest & dearest, and you want them there for a reason -- to see you get married!

Fellow PNW gals, here''s a little vent for you in regards to people and driving in the rain: There is no way in hells bells that every we todd on the road just freaking moved here and has never driven in the rain! WTF people? It''s rain, we see it here a lot...now gas it up! I want to get one of those neon reader boards and attach it to the top of my car and type in cute little one liners for people that can''t drive! The super hilarious part is that most people in the PNW drive all wheel drive vehicles so seriously what''s up with going 35 in the fast lane just because of a few drops of rain?

OUCH! (thats where i am from) LOL.

I take it as this (except for the rain) we dont have climate weather stick around long enough to know how to drive in it.
but with that said, i''ll still drive fast (and safe) in the rain. although with my new car, my tires are crap.


today is my friday - yay! and i am supposed to get my ring back tomorrow.

Elle, this weekend my bro and his wife are staying with us. We''re going to just hang, maybe do a bbq/picnic at one of the parks upstate. Definitely going to see a movie if we can. Anyone see Bright Star? It''s about the English poet, John Keats...looks good and got really good reviews.

You don''t live under a rock - it''s not a movie that they are running trailers for every second. In fact, it''s only playing at a few theaters here in NY.

I love doing picnics (it''s my thing

) and there is a really beautiful park/reserve upstate that we love. In the hills/woods by a creek. Great place to hike and take our dog. I''m just hoping for nice weather. As for food, we''ll probably make some sandwiches, maybe something to grill...depends on what they want to eat. My brother loves grilled steak, but my SIL doesn''t and FI isn''t a big red meat person. Too many people to please!!!

You know, maybe we''ll go for dumplings. My brother''s friend grew up in Chinatown and told us of this awesome place to get dumplings...they are soooo good. We went once and I almost died and went to heaven.

We only have one dim sum place near our house, and they only serve between 11 and 3. Now I really want dim sum....

I am scrubbing my house so its clean when I get back, even tho I will get back tommorow, I still get anxiety over it.

I should hear soon. She said between a week or two...waiting is so hard! I''m trying to stay optimistic - you know the power of positive thinking and all that, but it''s not easy. I guess no matter the outcome, the experience was good for me. I need practice interviewing and this was definitely a major interview. I just want the job so bad - what I really love about this job is the growth opportunity would be fantastic. We shall see...
