Oh dear god.
I am losing it. The wedding is 10 days out and I''m an emotional wreck. I have NO idea what happened but I''m so queasy, and I have been crying over everything, and no - I''m not pregnant. I can''t even go into BWW because the anxiety kicks into high gear. The only thing that calms me is hanging with FI. I''m at work right now, trying not to cry, and there is zero reason TO cry.
I dont know how I''m going to make it the next 10 days.

Blah. No, unfortunately. I usually just let it runs its course and try to control the symptoms.Date: 9/30/2009 9:54:31 AM

Thanks muchGot any tips for making a cold go away? I usually chug Gatorage mixed with Emergen-C, but I''m totally open to any suggestions.
I thought it was a great idea, and now I''m pretty sure its the source of a lot of my anxiety.Date: 9/30/2009 10:07:23 AM

Sunny - did you enjoy the weather yesterday?
Hahaha that happens every time it rains for the first time in awhile. Everyone forgets how to drive in it. Jeez, it''s not snow! Don''t get me started on snow!!!Date: 9/30/2009 1:34:16 PM

Elle - Deep breaths! Reading fmylife.com always makes me feel better about my current state of crazy madness...
SunnyD - So glad I''m not the only one with frozen balls. It just came on so fast...
Fellow PNW gals, here''s a little vent for you in regards to people and driving in the rain: There is no way in hells bells that every we todd on the road just freaking moved here and has never driven in the rain! WTF people? It''s rain, we see it here a lot...now gas it up! I want to get one of those neon reader boards and attach it to the top of my car and type in cute little one liners for people that can''t drive! The super hilarious part is that most people in the PNW drive all wheel drive vehicles so seriously what''s up with going 35 in the fast lane just because of a few drops of rain?
Oh thank you I feel better
Some days I think no one in the PNW (expecially Bellevue) can drive in ANY weather.Date: 9/30/2009 2:09:11 PM

Morning everyone!
It''s soooo chilly today, but I must admit, I LOVE October! Baseball, foliage, the chill in the air, pumpkins and Halloween!!!
Elle, this weekend my bro and his wife are staying with us. We''re going to just hang, maybe do a bbq/picnic at one of the parks upstate. Definitely going to see a movie if we can. Anyone see Bright Star? It''s about the English poet, John Keats...looks good and got really good reviews.
You don''t live under a rock - it''s not a movie that they are running trailers for every second. In fact, it''s only playing at a few theaters here in NY.Date: 10/1/2009 10:37:13 AM

That sounds like a good weekend, B! I haven''t seen Bright Star. I haven''t even heard of it. I live under a rock. That''s what happens when you don''t have TV!Making anything yummy for the picnic?
I still stand by the fact that I live under a rock.Date: 10/1/2009 10:49:46 AM

I love doing picnics (it''s my thing) and there is a really beautiful park/reserve upstate that we love. In the hills/woods by a creek. Great place to hike and take our dog. I''m just hoping for nice weather. As for food, we''ll probably make some sandwiches, maybe something to grill...depends on what they want to eat. My brother loves grilled steak, but my SIL doesn''t and FI isn''t a big red meat person. Too many people to please!!!You know, maybe we''ll go for dumplings. My brother''s friend grew up in Chinatown and told us of this awesome place to get dumplings...they are soooo good. We went once and I almost died and went to heaven.
Still waiting to hear about the jobare you still praying for me???!

Morning y''all!
Happy pseudo-Friday Jcar! Glad to hear you''re getting your ring back!I can''t imagine not having mine!
My brother currently thinks its hilarious to send me a message on blackberry messenger reminding me every day how many more days until the wedding.
Whats everyone up to this weekend?
I should hear soon. She said between a week or two...waiting is so hard! I''m trying to stay optimistic - you know the power of positive thinking and all that, but it''s not easy. I guess no matter the outcome, the experience was good for me. I need practice interviewing and this was definitely a major interview. I just want the job so bad - what I really love about this job is the growth opportunity would be fantastic. We shall see...Date: 10/1/2009 10:56:48 AM

That sounds awesome! It is very difficult to try and coordinate food for several people - it would drive me crazy. I''m SO jealous of you if you go to Chinatown! I want to eat the hell out of some tasty dim sum! Michigan doesn''t have a Chinatown TMK, but we do have Mexican town! We only have one dim sum place near our house, and they only serve between 11 and 3. Now I really want dim sum....
I still have my fingers crossed for you, B! I was just thinking about you earlier! I''ll cross them harder! Do you have any idea when you might hear back?
