Office cake was hilarious.

Ok, awkward at best.

It was all the secretaries, and like 5 attorneys. 3 of which looked at me like it was the first time they saw me. Some attorney just came, grabbed cake, and left.

My introvertedness is getting out of control.

The secretaries got me an 80 dollar Visa Debit Card though. That was nice of them!

Yes elle! I do get to keep my job! We were actually waiting for September reports on the budget and we are actually doing well. So this is great news because if things weren''t going well then they would have had to do more lay-offs. Thank goodness we are safe! I finished up a magazine and actually have been working on this schedule thing and then I''ve got to go right back into another magazine. Not to mention the design of little things here and there. I guess it''s a good thing keeping busy. Keeps those LIWitis thoughts away for a while! I''ve got to visit more now though because your wedding is coming up missy! I''m so excited for you! EEEP!

jcar- He''s doing alright. Still no job!

Poor guy. He''s had such a rough year. It''s been like the year of bad luck for him. Thankfully 2010 is right around the corner. I hope it goes much better for him. But we obviously wouldn''t mind the rest of 2009 going better!

ckrickett- So do you ever get to sit in those comfy chairs when there are no shoppers in the store?

so i just heard on the news that they are making a sequal of phatom of the opera. not sure how i feel about that, since that was my FAVORITE growing up - i''ve only seen it once and i still remember all the words to the songs.

i am going to get my ring apraised tomorrow. pretty stoked about that. and then on saturday its my friends wedding!!

although i did have a mini maid-zilla moment. i called Davids Bridal yesterday becuase no one called me about my shoes, and the S.A. said "your pick up date is either the 1st or the 15th" and made it out to sound like i can ONLY pick up my shoes on those dates. i bought the shoes damn near a month ago, but fortunately they ARE done. dang! talk about mini heart attack moment.

oh, and my wedding earrings arrived broke, but i found a super cute vendor who will make jewerly for me. woohoo!
