Hey, LP!!

The honeymoon was AWESOME with exception of the tarantula incident. We were driving down one of the expressways in puerto rico when a spider that was about 5 inches in diameter scurried across the dash. DH(HA! DH!) is TERRIFIED of spiders he flipped the F out. It ran down by his feet and he was just panicking. Somehow we managed to pull over into the parking lot of an Outlet mall and bolt from the car.

We had to call enterprise car rental and ask them to bring us another car. LOL. They were like "Seriously? We don't have spiders that big in San Juan." DH was like "We were in the middle of the rainforest, and the spider WAS that big. The guy was like "Oh... rainforest, ok, that's more believable" So they sent out a tow truck to tow the car back. We told the tow truck guy there was a spider in it, and instead of towing the car, he just hunted for it and found it. He SLAMMED on it with his work boot, and the spider still didnt die.

DH wanted a picture of it, but we couldnt get one. We paid the tow truck guy 30 bucks (seriously? thats it? for hunting that mammoth thing?) and we were on our way. Best 30 bucks I've ever spent.

We checked our entire suitcase once we got home to make sure we didnt bring any more back with us. It was a huntsman spider... in case you want to google it. It was horrible. I don't want to post a picture of it because it was freaking terrifying.

I am about to head out to go run the million errands I have to do today, but then I'll be back with the better details of the honeymoon.

Dude, whoever came up with car-antula gets a high five from me, that was hilarious!! Just the word, not the fact that a giant devil spider took over your car. I would have been on the next plane.

so on the phone with the insurance guy. aparently our last payment did not draft so we have no insurance. HORay. thank god it was JUST the playstation.

sunnyd - yay. well. lesson learned, right? make sure your freaking insurance people are not buttwipes, and you will be all good. their answer was "we sent a letter".... no phone calls, no notice when i called the freaking company... *gr* simmer...simmmer....


ANYwhos. today is my day off. i stayed up till 2 am playing video games last night. i am such a nerd! i am not even good at games!!

Welcome back Elle! My mom had an experience with a tarantula in our driveway that sounds pretty similar...

SunnyD, I own a few pairs of Delicious shoes, and they do look pretty good for the price. They aren't the most comfortable though... And I know what you mean about not being able to find a decent pair for under $50...

Not at the rack, I got a pair from DSW a couple of weeks ago, but they''re basically the exact same as a pair I already have (wedding shoes) but 1/2" taller. So I''d like to find something that was different. I could be boring and just get black I guess...
