*Hugs* I hope everything goes smoothly.

I found out that my friend who was going to be getting married right after us next year has called off the wedding and she and her FI are trying to figure out where to go from here.

It sounds like the right choice, but I feel bad for both of them. Kind of a weird situation. They''ve been together for like 7 years, too.

I love Arugula too Miss Kitty! For green I''d do scallions, maybe cilantro, maybe avocado...what about a small piece of nori? Maybe a tiny bit of green papaya salad? Nom nom nom...

Okay, so I think I was a bit over-ambitious...in B''s words, it tasted like "fish on a cookie." Which, I guess is accurate, but not what I was going for!

I''m still trying to work this miso/gingerbread combo, but scallops are definitely not going to be involved next time.

And Freke, I have TONS of nori...don''t know how I forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder

Chiming in late, but I hope things are going well, CK!

So I got my Halloween costume today. I find it hard to believe that all women want to show off every inch of skin they have on Halloween. WHY aren''t there any costumes that cover reasonable amounts of your body???? I got one that''s pretty decent, but I think I''m going to have to put tights underneath it so I can bend over/sit down/not totally humiliate myself.

HDG--I have only taken a couple, and I wasn''t wearing undergarments and the dress wasn''t zipped up, so it looked the opposite of fabulous. Lol. I need someone to zip it up for me...

Too much rain!!!!!!

The roads are a mess. We took 520 this morning. Big mistake. The road isn''t draining right (because of the construction?) so there were big puddles everywhere.

You''d think rain would be the one thing everyone around here would know how to drive in.

Okay, so today is one of those good news/bad news kind of days:

We just got the CUTEST save-the-date in the mail (it''s a little mini-disc with a slideshow of all the save-the-date info & pictures), but the wedding is...in Ecuador. Love these friends, but a trip of that magnitude is not in our budget
