I''m playing on the J. Crew website. Please tell me that I don''t really need this many cardigans.

Nothing wrong with too many cardigans!!! Oh, that''s not what you asked for, is it?

JCrew has such nice stuff...

BTW, is it wrong to eat a sugar cookie at 10:30am?

M and I had a funny talk last night. I told him I was worried about turning into a crazy LIW at some point. (He makes fun of his friends who have GFs with serious cases of LIWitis.) He thought I meant bridezilla, not LIWzilla, and said, "Yeah, but princesss, you realize they were crazy BEFORE they got engaged, right? Like, ''When are we getting married? Why don''t you love me? If you loved me, you''d marry me!''" I looked at him like he was nuts and said, "That''s exactly the kind of crazy I''m scared of! What if I become like that? Huh? What then, buddy????? We need a code word. A word that says, ''Princesss, shut up. You''re turning into a loon.''"

You know what word he came up with? "CZ" As in, "Keep acting like this and guess what you''re getting? CZ."

Btw, don''t you like how I''m pre-emtively freaking out about whether or not I''ll freak out about something I''m not even ready for yet????? Yeah. Me too. I seriously have a case of the crazies.

You''re a pretty sensible woman, Princesss. I''m sure you might have a *moment* once in a while where you''re wondering whats taking so long, but from what I can tell, you and M have a pretty solid relationship. That means you trust him enough to know (logically!) that it will happen if he said it''s going to happen. Yes, of course, you might have a moment where you''re just feeling overwhelmed or emotional, but you''ll KNOW if you''re being crazy, so you''ll be able to tell M "I''m sorry, it''s just that I''m excited, and sometimes I get frustrated that it hasnt happened yet" and of course, being the wonderful guy he is, M will understand and reassure you if you need it.

I never thought I''d be a crazy LIW, but definitely had at least one break down. Shameful - but I couldn''t help it. J understood.

Then before you know it, it''ll be done, you''ll be married, and you''ll wonder where the hell the time went and how it could have possibly gone by that fast.

Yeah. Mostly I hate the idea of not being in control. Which is exactly what my (mostly joking) freakout was about. Not being in control of my emotions (ie going from totally fine to, "Hey, I want to get married. Now."), not being in control of something I''m excited about (getting engaged), just plain not being in control. And it''s definitely something I''m working on, and if there is anybody in the world I can trust, it''s M. And, thank God, he knows this about me and loves me anyways. That''s seriously a relief, because I''m a pain in the patootie!

Ditto. I have both available to me... but I think green tea gives me the biggest kick in caffeine.

I dont know if thats true, but it feels that way! Green tea it is!

Awww don''t worry about that! J just had a plan that he could implement easily on short notice. He got the ring, arranged the proposal. Your FF might have something more complicated, time consuming, or date-specific in mind.

With the holidays coming up, it''s a pretty sure thing it''ll happen by January 1, I''d imagine!

I can''t stand the smell of popcorn but will eat it IF it is covered in chocolate or caramel or (better still) both.

Sugar cookie at any time is good. (of course I served lemon cake with a marshmallow frosting for breakfast this morning...)


I love all the new shoes and the beautiful dresses posted in the last few days. So pretty.
